Located in central Richmond, Daily Delicious is a hidden gem perfect for all your cake, bread, and pastry needs.Ordered an adorable fresh fruit cake for mom's birthday, and she absolutely loved it. The sponge cake is super soft and the cream is not too sweet (if you know, you know). The fruit used is super fresh and the cake was made to order on the day of.The amazing staff who helped us on the day of pick up was definitely sweeter than the cream on the cake. The croissants are so good! It's no wonder they won the championship for them. I got it delivered through Fantuan. Tried the crab mentaiko, kimchi spam, almond, and chocolate croissants and the bread was the same amazing quality throughout: soft on the inside with a good amount of filling to bread ratio, and flaky with the right amount of crunch on the outside. Tried their kimchi with spam croissant - I like it - it’s crispy on the outside and the flavour of the kimchi with spam is right on. My friend tried the salted egg yolk croissant but she didn’t like it much - the egg yolk is sweet instead of salty and the yolk is not creamy /liquid flowing - it’s like a dry peanut butter. Also tried their black sesame cake - the black sesame icing is great as well as the taro mochi filling in between layers of sponge cake. Not sweet at all....read full review
