“I love coming here, I’ve been twice, reasonably priced, I love the beef dip, loads of beef in a nice long toasted bun, lots of fresh fries, you can tell they are cooked in clean oil. Lovely dip, wonderful service and relaxed atmosphere. I go to the Sunshine Coast every 6 weeks and I will eat here every time.”

“Used to just get take out. Went today and so happy we did. So cute and comfortable. Really loved the atmosphere! Service was great! Food was awesome. Highly recommend you go and get the full experience!”
“I had a visit from Sechelt couple of days ago and chose this restaurant because the ambiance at El Segundo was vibrant and inviting. The staff offered helpful recommendations about dishes. The Dynamite Bowl was a true highlight of the meal and was reasonably priced considering the quality of the ingredients and the portion size.”
“Roksy and her chef were so nice, food is comforting and delicious. Relaxing atmosphere, and they have live music! I missed it, but next time I know. The restaurant helps the community as it is a non-profit. I can't believe more people don't talk about this hidden gem lunch restaurant, I would have come sooner! I'll be back! All gluten free too!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free”
“Nice place in downtown Sechelt. Some within our party got the mac'n'cheese, others the tacos and myself the Bayou Bite chicken burger. Was really decent food. The drought beers weren't too fresh tasting and overly sweet. The best of the seasonal was the cream ale (not my style). But the freshest was the IPA from a can?!?. Would visit again”
“Amazing food! So tasty and great sized portions. And the family running the truck? Truly kind and caring people. My daughter got so excited for Thai food she ran off with it and dropped 3/4s of our order in the parking lot. Maria and Rory (and Athena!) didn't blink an eye and remade our order. WOW! I'm in awe. Real customer service and really quality product.”
“Really nice food and tranquil ambience. Service was fantastic, very friendly staff. No complaints at all. Also great for toddlers, my son loved his food and ours.”
“Lots of great gluten free options for my Celiac daughter(she had a beef dip deconstructed without bread) and said it was 10/10!Best food in the Davis Bay Area!Dietary restrictions: They use a separate fryer and were very knowledgeable about celiac”
“Delicious pizza! Such a wonderful surprise to find a fantastic pizza while on our family vacation. This was the perfect option for a quiet night in after a busy day”
“Really loved the atmosphere, drinks, and food. The Widowmaker IPA was fabulous. The waitress was amazing. I was even able to help with my firefighter experience as they had a false alarm due to recent renovations. Awesome place and will be sure to be back. Highly recommend.”
“Don’t get me wrong I love this place and the food but today’s experience was unfortunately for me, surprisingly disappointing. I was generously gifted a gift certificate for Xmas and have been waiting to finally get the chance to use it, today was that day. Well I went in so excited to purchase some frozen goods from the Galiano market (which I thought was an extension of the restaurant) to bring home so I didn’t have to cook tonight. I’m not a big fan of dining out these days. Only to my surprise I was told I couldn’t use it. I am only able to use my gift certificate in house for the restaurant only-darn. I hope they don’t expire because the restaurant hours are limited which makes it hard to dine there (for me personally). So be mindful folks when purchasing a GC for a loved one and let them know beforehand so they don’t drive all the way there to find out like I did. Total bummer for me today. I will still recommend this establishment but hopefully their GC system can made more accommodating. P.s It also does not clarify this rule on the GC.”
“Food was excellent! Best Thai or Asian food we've found on the Coast! I think my partner wanted to leave me for their seafood sauce - chili sauce they served with the fried squid.Tom Kah soup was excellent. Stir-fried basil (with beef) was exactly how I remember it from some of the best restaurants in Vancouver at their peak. Pad Thai was the wealest of the three, but we also ordered it very mild for the kids and it was still tasty.Bubble tea was a delightful treat for the kids.We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: My vegetarian friend had her birthday there, so they have options. I have not tried them personally.”
“It was absolutely divine! I loved the atmosphere, the plants and the noise of people are surprisingly nice to listen to! The food was absolutely divine, through the roof amazing, and I am considered picky! And the service was the best of all, the waitress was astounding! Her energy and hospitality really brightened up the room, whenever she walks over, you know you’re in for a good treat! She cracks jokes, is kind and polite, I would love to see her again. ?”
“We wanted a hearty breakfast, and they delivered. Biscuit and the hollandaise sauce were phenomenal. Price seemed slightly on the high side but not too much to complain about.”
