Went with my friend the day before Valentine's Day for the tasting menu. Service was average, but kudos to the lovely hostess who acknowledged special request for our reservations, and wondering why the dining room servers not paying attention to details like the hostess. Overall the tasting menu was of average quality, nothing of vow factors comparing to my first dining experience years ago here. We had the Chef's menu with Premium wine pairing. The overall experience was good. Most of the dishes are very good, very tasty. Service is exceptional, A bit pricey in my opinion.

As usual L'Abbatoir does not disappoint! My wife and I experienced excellent food and service. Although we no longer live in close proximity to Gastown, we will always make it a point to visit this establishment at least 4 times a year.
