Ugh! I love Siegels and often come here but today I was hugely disappointed. I ordered the egg & cheddar bagel and vegetarian bagel. The egg & cheddar bagel, when I got half wayc started tasting like onion and fish. I’m assuming someone ordered the lox bagel prior and they used the same knife?I have never had a bad experience here but I did have to post this. Thankfully, I’m not allergic to onion or salmon but if I was I think I would’ve been sick as hell. The taste was metally and awful. The only explanation I can think of is they used the same knife ??♀️

I am hoping we just got a bad batch, because our bagels were small, slightly burnt, and had a very off-putting flavour. We both had the Everything Bagel and I am wondering if it being over-toasted contributed to the odd taste. The texture of the bagel was okay but I am eager to try other local spots.
