Dalana from The Cake and the Giraffe created the most beautiful and delicious cake for my wedding. We picked the lemon meringue flavour and it was outstanding!! The buttercream is so silky, the lemon curd was perfectly tart and the cake light and moist. Our cake looked better than the inspiration photo we provided. I couldn’t be happier with how it looked. Dalana is so talented and we will definitely use The Cake and the Giraffe again for special occasions!

Horned owls are big birds, and the cake was so realistic some people could not believe it was a cake by just looking at it. I also wanted to make sure that it was not just a statue-like creation. She put in a lot of whimsy by creating a happy birthday note on a torn piece of paper held in the bird’s beak with a wink.Fantastic job Dalana. Thank you very much for making this occasion memorable.

We loved the accents of the decorations from the Ichigo plushy you put on top to the colored decoration of the game themes we had envisioned. It was beautiful. Also...the flavor was amazing....the chocolate raspberry compote+ganache and vanilla+dulche de leche was highly enjoyed by our guests and us. We had also done the cake tradition of leaving a piece for an year. Even after the year...the cake was amazing. Thanks a bunch!

We hired Dalana to make our wedding cake and cupcakes back in October and they were perfect! We had ordered a tasting box from The Cake and The Giraffe and we were immediately sold as the flavours were heavenly, so much so that we couldn’t decide on just one flavour and ordered all three as cupcakes for our guests, who loved them! We ordered cupcakes in confetti, peanut butter and chocolate, and vanilla chai and our wedding cake was confetti - they were all beautiful and delicious! Dalana was also very professional to work with and super kind. We will for sure be ordering more cakes from The Cake and The Giraffe in the future!

Our wedding cake was perfect! We got the “not your average vanilla” and it was so delicious. The cake also looked exactly as we had discussed. We also ordered a slab on the side to make it easier for our venue to serve and we chose the neopolitan flavour for the slab and our guests loved it!
