Do your best to sit by the wood burning stove in the back and you’ll want to stay for hours. What was supposed to be a quick beer with a friend turned into a few beers over several hours and I loved every second of it. I had ordered the Lighthouse vanilla stout and on my first sip I knew something was off - it was super fruity - and called my server over to see if I got the right beer. I remember visiting this place years back. Their shepherd's pie was amazing. Since then, every time when I visited, I was less satisfied each time. Fish and chips were okay... The coleslaw was the worst. Their beer selections are always good. The atmosphere is also great and the staff has always been friendly. Unfortunately, food has turned from great to okay.

Anna is maybe the best server I have seen! This is a hill I will die on. I hope she is working every time I come here. I mean selfishly, I want that but hope she gets some weekends off.
