“Love Mexican food that is well seasoned, marinated, and spicy. I often go for the dishes that include rice. Portions are great, worth what you’re paying for. Small place so highly recommend going on a quiet day/time. Menu is from Aug 2023 so prices might not be updated.“
“HUGE RAVE!!! Wow. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Never been in this store yet. Today I had the best experience welcomed upon entry by the owner. Very very very nice man!! Explaining the homemade take home Enchiladas and other amazing looking Mexican food. (Which ones he preferred) I lost my bank card couple days ago and only had cash was a dollar short for the bill and get said no problem... Let me take the Enchiladas and the Tamale anyway. I felt bad cause I wanted to leave a tip.. I will be returning tomorrow to give the well deserved tip and the dollar I was short. Definitely will be returning to support this amazing local business!!!!“
“First of all, the owner Dan is so friendly and welcoming! They have a really versatile menu that offers something for everyone. The atmosphere inside is so warm and inviting. The patio looks onto beautiful oak bay avenue..and the staff are awesome! 10/10 - very good first experience“

“We ordered for pickup because our baby was sleeping in the car and the breakfast wraps we got were SO GOOD. Also the pesto dip for tater tots was delicious!! More of that in the pesto wrap would make it even better. Will definitely return and eat inside next time :)“

“My wife and I arrived at 5 ish on a Saturday in early January and were immediately seated.The place was busy but we were given menus and attentive service from the start.We always get Fajittas and Quesadillas and these arrived quick, piping hot and very good.And it was in the range of real peoples wallets.We don't drink but the young people around us seemed happy.“

“Great service. Lovely guy who accommodated our request to have 2 different types of tacos in 1 portion. The tacos tasted really fresh and unlike every other taco I’ve had didn’t fall apart! Apologies also - I ended up leaving a 1 cent tip due to my unfamiliarity with the tipping format on card payment and had no cash. It was definitely worth more than that. Thanks.“

“Decent food at best. Portion, where good and flavours were mild. I was disappointed that they had no mexican beer! Also, there was no mexican or spanish music. “We stumbled upon Kaitta’s Kitchen at the Lagoon last night. It was the end of the night, so she was sold out of a lot, but whipped up a quesadilla and a crispy burrito. Let me tell you, it was THE MOST DELICIOUS Mexican food I have ever eaten. Kattia is very sweet and friendly, and put lots of love into our dinner. 10/10 would recommend!! I know I’ll be going back for sure!“
“This little cafe is quaint and just far enough off the Main Street (less than a block) that lets it boast super relaxing, quiet space with all day happy hour deals. Service was wonderful. We shared a platter of shredded chicken nachos and drinks. Cool little find to take a breath!“
“While not traditional Mexican, this place has very good Tex-mex style food. I’ve been here multiple times and the food is always good and the staff is always helpful and nice. Good Mexican styling in the restaurant, better than most other fast casually dining options in the area. It does seem to get quite busy around lunch times, but what good restaurant doesn’t.This is a very worth while Tex-mex restaurant with decent pricing.“

Burritos are a great size and unlike some Mexican places, they don't use rice as a cheap filler to beef up the burrito size... It's a hearty meal! “I love their tacos. I have found myself coming back for more on the regular. Amazing owners, amazing food. Could not recommend enough. My significant other from New York could not physically get enough of them and ate tacos almost everyday he was in town and they were open. If you have not tried them, do it! You will not be disappointed.“
