We just had dinner in the Grill Room in the Fairmont Chateau Whistler this evening. The service from the Maitre’D and our waiters Maddie and Paul was outstanding. Paul took care of an issue we had with a steak, it was quickly replaced by one that was delicious, and thanks to Paul it was a wonderful evening. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner and great live music at the Mallard Lounge this evening. The musician is a very talented singer and guitarist. Holly was our wonderful waitress who made us feel welcome and special. She was attentive and kind. We will definitely be back again.

Ridiculous resort fee nonsense. Either include it in your rate, like a hotel should, or don't operate as a hotel at all. You may as well be an Airbnb with bogus cleaning fees.

I have stayed at the Fairmont here many times - I come almost every year, and it’s my favourite hotel in whistler - I will always choose to stay here. I had a fantastic stay. I booked an Alpine suite. Unfortunately my first night the sink was clogged and it couldn’t be easily fixed so I was upgraded to a gorgeous one bedroom mountain view corner suite which was just wonderful! The service is excellent! The staff are so friendly and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and expansive. I just love the atmosphere. I was here for a conference. The location is so convenient for skiing, though this time I didn’t go skiing. I really love it here and will continue to stay here for my future annual trips.Rooms: Gorgeous and spacious. Beds are super comfortable.Nearby activities: Right on the base of Blackcomb mountain so couldn’t be more convenient for skiingSafety: Absolutely safeWalkability: About a 10 minute pleasant and safe walk to Whistler villageFood & drinks: Had a delicious dinner with excellent service at the Grille restaurant. The Vida spa has top notch treatments. I love the shops attached to the hotel as well. There are a few clothing stores, and the Portobello restaurant has a really cool vibe.

We enjoyed our 2nd annual stay at this amazing property. It was our first Fairmont Gold stay, this time in Fairmont Gold Room 756 from April 1-5, 2024. We had another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. The Gold lounge was outstanding. We love the superheated pool and the proximity to such amazing skiing. We definitely will return, hopefully next Spring Break. The Fairmont Gold lounge’s breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings were very good. However, the breakfast buffet in the hotel’s Wildflower Cafe is extraordinary. That we did miss but we loved the convenience of the lounge having refreshments available throughout the day and evening.
