For 20 years, I was a loyal patron of this establishment, singing its praises far and wide. It transformed me from a fish detester to a raw fish aficionado. Yet, all it took was a single glitch in their booking software to ensure I'll never step foot in there again. This debacle has laid bare the utter incompetence that's taken root under its current management. It's a stark reminder that without genuine service, a restaurant is nothing. Here's hoping for a managerial overhaul that grasitates the basic principles of hospitality, because right now, they're disastrously missing the mark.

Absolutely great spot in Whistler. Sire it's not the most gourmet sushi in BC but the vibe, atmosphere, service is the best. It's a right of passage to go to Sushi Village.

On a weekend expect to wait an hour or two on the dinner waitlist. You can only get on the waitlist in-person. The restaurant fills up quick after 6pmLots of experimental sushi options here (house specials), like the KFC roll.Prices are quite high for what you get but that’s just the whistler tax.

Really busy and popular. Not the best sushi in whistler but it's really good. The restaurant is nice and if you're a party of two the sushi bar is the best seat. I would come back if I already didn't have a favorite go to. Usual wait for drop in is 1.5-3 hours.

This is the worst Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to! It’s overpriced and the food isn’t even that good. We ordered the salmon don and the rice was dry and bland and the salmon, to my disappointment was wild. The last thing is that there was salmon roe once it was popped they would go over the rice which made it taste even worst. This doesn’t deserve a 4.1 it should get less than one. Do not come here.

What a nice surprise! For some unknown reason we thought this place was not a good place for sushi. We were trying to get in another place, but it was full. Sushi village has a weird reservation policy, we basically got in a waiting list and got messaged when the table was ready. We missed the message and didn't reply for confirmation, but when we showed up they understood and found a table for us, great service! The place is pretty big and busy. We got some Temaki (Negitoro, salmon, maguro) all very very good, assorted sushi, assorted sashimi (forgot to take picture), tobiko sushi, beef teriyaki, yakitori. Everything was delicious, we really enjoyed it very much! Service was kind and attentive.

I remember coming here when I worked in Whistler in 2008. Such fond memories, and coming back reaffirmed it's still top notch. Definitely try the spicy agedashi tofu, even if you're not into tofu.. it will change your mind! All the food was delicious ? warm saki also very good ?

when u see line up before it's 5:30 opening, you know this is the right place, might be the only place for sushi in the village. Overall experience is good.
Mikito "Miki" Homma opened Sushi Village restaurant in 1985. Whistler was still a developing ski resort, and the timing was right. Since then, this restaurant has become one of the top restaurants in Whistler. Come to Whistler Village for a great experience in the beautiful environment and a great meal at Sushi Village. The food here is all delicious and made with great care and attention. The staff are marvelously friendly. And, altogether, this is the type of place that you will keep coming back again, and again. I know I will.

Mediocre ,overpriced so called sushi. Was disappointed and dissatisfied with the not even cold, or fresh tasting fish. Tasted like two days old fish bought from the grocery store chopped over premade rice. The seared fish was terrible. Just tasted like dry and as if it were sitting out for hours, not even the slightest bit moist or Even lukewarm... just room temperature, cold?Even the grocery store has better tasting sushi. I've had decent and great sushi many times before, but this is so below the bar that I have to question if it's even genuine or somebody pretending to know how to make sushi. I've never been so underwhelmed with a dining experience.
