“The food was good, but a little pricey for breakfast. The service was pretty good until the waitress went on break and didn't tell us. There was no backup coverage. I would have preferred to sit inside because it was cold that day, but we would have waited longer since it was busy when we arrived. This was my first time dining at Sunrose.”

“Food is absolutely delicious, as others have said, it's so "real" looking and tasting you have to re-read the "100% Vegan" on the menu to convince yourself. All 6 staff members we encountered were incredibly friendly and seemed to genuinely like being there. Nice, quiet atmosphere allowed for conversation. Overall exemplary experience and I can't wait to go back!”

“Old Place was such a cool experience! The food was delicious. The portions were huge. The service was impeccable! Highly recommend getting the thick cut bacon for your appetizer! We split the ribeye! Cooked to perfection! We felt like we stepped back into time and can't wait to dine here again!”

“Crissy is AMAZING!! She was so sweet and helped me decide! it's a small space but she did an amazing job making it homey and comfy! She baked all of the cookies in house everyday! you could smell how deliciosos! The smoothies are made with real fruit and it shows! she was very generous and didn't skimp out on filling up the cup!! Happy to find a new smoothie place that i live in the area!!!!”

“Some restaurant menus make me feel good, prompted by good ingredients, spotless floors and a staff that understand that it’s as hard to keep a customer as to create a new one.Other places, and you probably know of a few, offer a lot of pastas and entrees, or maybe a few signature dishes that make a place unique, but disappoint when overpaying for a lower experience. I wish them well.But some restaurants surpriseme. I just had lunch at Basta, in Agora’s Whizzin Market and gotta say I’m surprised, and a little miffed.Sure the staff are great with each one genuinely happy I came in. They even smiled. The atmosphere is open, inviting, warm and has a great combination of Mexican blues, warm tones, and wrought iron.I’ve never been here before as Whizzin Market is a little out of the way for me.But in spite of all the reasons it should have all been in the feel good category, my lunch went another direction.I had originally thought to order one of the bowls which cater to veggie, meat, or fish prefs. The Jidori Chicken Bowl seemed my speed which I asked about. My server, Cruz asked if I wanted the roast chicken or the bowl?Roast Chicken is my comfort food and I lost my mind for a beat. Then committed a classic amateur restaurant goer move:The panic order.“Roasted, please,” I heard myself say. Cruz refilled my coffee and disappeared. The dice now rolled, I waited.The chicken was good. No, not just good, but magnificent. So good I felt a mix of relief, surprise and annoyance. None of this was directed at the staff, Basta’s management, or the even the poor chicken.First, being from a small town in Indiana originally, I’ve eaten chicken at least 23x a week since 1970 and I’ve never tasted chicken like this. From the light golden sauce to crispy skin, it was ideally cooked and served immediately. I had no idea. No exaggerating.Second, that this lunch in terms of price point is a super value. Check the menu when you stop in, but you’ll find Basta a wonderful value for the level of care and attention to it all.All that to say, I’m so mad I haven’t been here earlier. Regardless of the distance, it should have been on my list.Consider yourself warned you may feel the same.Parking: Get here early if Canyon Club has a show.”

“So.... everyone in T.O. talks about slice house pizza. While they're decent, two dough is on another level. I suggest ordering ahead online. The shop itself isn't huge and packed at times.”

“I've dined here a number of times especially when I worked in Agoura Hills. Urbane Cafe is my favorite place for healthy eating during lunch and dinner hours. I usually order the salads, but they have a great selection of soups and sandwiches, the sandwiches made with freshly baked focaccia bread. The bread is served with all meals. Recently had the Keto Cobb Salad with chicken and it was superb served with a blue cheese dressing. Plenty of good seating here, service is timely and overall ambiance is welcoming. There is a kids cafe and a nice vegetarian menu. Highly recommend the Urbane Cafe.”

“We moved out to Agoura in July of 2023, and after a few months of trying a variety of local restaurants the Adobe Cantina became our go to spot for Mexican cuisine.Taco Tuesday is great for a variety of taco options, the fajitas are legit, the enchiladas are top notch, and the margaritas are always enjoyed. Our 1 year old really loves the rice, beans, and cheese quesadillas. My mom says the Adobe Cantina makes the best chile relleno she has ever had.This restaurant has ample parking in their lot, but there is also street parking right outside. There is a lot of inside seating, but an abundance of outside seating as well. We have never waited for a table, and the service is AMAZING. I will say that all of the staff is phenomenal, but Ricardo is one of the best waiters I have ever run into.Adobe Canrina is always delicious , very friendly, and worth the visit!”

“I was surprised to see the outdoor patio dining gone. During the summer it's a great place to eat and when the weather isn't so nice it was covered and so attractive to be seated under. I'm going to miss that area that's now taken over by parked cars. The food was good last night, but waiting for a table was a bit horrendous and a long wait which isn't usually the case. Phillipe was trying hard as he's the owner.”

“Best NY style pizza around! The other spots claim to be NY style, but this is as close as you’ll get in this area. Staff are super nice as well and the place is always clean when we go in. Our go to spot on Friday nights!”

“Great sandwich and from I hear it can get busy. I must have come at the perfect time cause I was the 3rd person in line. I went with a simple turkey, pepper jack, and bacon on a French roll. Didn't take too long and the sandwich was a good size. Very tasty and filling.”

“Discovered this gem of a restaurant when I was searching online for something to have delivered for dinner. I phoned the restaurant and a friendly voice kindly answered all of the questions I had about the menu. I decided to order the Midnight Pizza and the Downhome Pizza, both “Ma Dukes style” (so yummy!), and a Mama Dukes Salad. We also got Ma Dukes Beignets with Caramel & Flake Salt for dessert. Everything was so fresh and unique and delicious! The pizza crust was perfect with just the right balance of crunch and chewiness. We definitely couldn’t decide which pizza we liked the best and now we can’t wait to try more. Prices were very fair for the quality and quantity. I don’t know how I never knew this place existed before, but it’s absolutely a new favorite!”

“Sole Soups has been one of my favorite go-to spots since l started buying soups, chilis, and stews from them at the Calabasas farmer's market in 2017. It's very rare to find a restaurant that produces in-house wholesome food using whole ingredients instead of unhealthy processed food that's full of chemicals, gums, and fillers like most restaurants and food manufacturers do. In an era where customer service is often overlooked, I find the owner and staff to be some of the most thoughtful and appreciative people at any type of business l've been to in recent memory. Even with the inflation we've experienced over the past few years, their prices have remained very reasonable.
