“Very quaint French restaurant on the side of the road in Malibu. I got the bahn mi and an espresso. Very clean and attentive staff. Coffee was great. The sandwich was spectacular. They ran out of bread and I did have to wait for freshly made bread but it was wonderful.”
“Probably my favorite place to eat. The food is delicious, creative, and beautiful to look at. The staff are professional and friendly. I've been following the chef for close to twenty years now, from Chiba to Asanebo to his own restaurant, and he's destined to become a name in the sushi business. Excellent fish. Great taste. Outstanding menu, both in terms of selection and preparation. A must-visit restaurant for the sushi lover who wants to see some new ideas.”
“The food was good, but a little pricey for breakfast. The service was pretty good until the waitress went on break and didn't tell us. There was no backup coverage. I would have preferred to sit inside because it was cold that day, but we would have waited longer since it was busy when we arrived. This was my first time dining at Sunrose.”
“I recently visited Tang and Java and was blown away by the exceptional experience they offer. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, and it was evident that this is a place that values customer satisfaction above all else. Not only do they offer high-quality items, but their commitment to using locally sourced ingredients adds a level of freshness and authenticity to their menu that is truly commendable. What's even more impressive is that Tang and Java is a women-owned business, which makes supporting them even more meaningful. It's inspiring to see such dedication and passion reflected in every aspect of their operation.Whether you're looking for a delicious cup of coffee, a tasty pastry, or a satisfying meal, Tang and Java has something for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing their fantastic offerings for yourself. You won't be disappointed!”
“We had a great time throwing axes! The staff were all great, we didn't eat there, but we had wonderful drinks. We have been telling everyone how much fun we had. Thanks!”
“Gasoline is always a great choice for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Great service extremely fresh food and a really cool eclectic vibe. They only have a couple vegan options l but they are very good. I would love to see more vegan choices but they have plant-based milk for coffees and the avocado toast is phenomenal.my son and his girlfriend love the patatas bravas And the eggs breakfast combo. Always fresh and tasty.Vegetarian options: Avocado toast is delicious and vegan”
“We came to Malibu with a larger group for my sister’s bachelorette. We booked at Taverna Tonys because we heard about the good vibes, belly dancing, and live music on the weekend. Let’s just say this place did not disappoint!Great food, fantastic service, fun Greek wine & the best vibes! We danced the night away. The staff seemed to be having just as much fun as we were, which is always great to see. Overall amazing experience from the first interactions with the hostess, to the great drinks at the bar, the wildly impressive backservers carrying our huge trays of plates and the fun server! Thanks again. We will be back!”
“Let's see, True Puerto Rican food in Los Angeles. No way. Always have to get my fix by going to New York or the Island. This is the only place I can say is "TRUE" Puerto Rican food. Real Mofongo, carne and pollo Guisa like my mother and grandmother made. Alcapurria, and Empanadillas were good. Can't wait to try the Papas Rellenos, Sorullitos De Maiz , and the true test, Arroz Con Gandules. So you know I'll be back. If you're picking up, the place can be hard to find. It's in an industrial area, but you can see the beautiful Puerto Rican bandera welcoming you. They are the first door on the right. You need to knock for service. The door was not marked and the only complaint I had. "WILL" be going back. After 40 years in LA, it has finally arrived. Mi Gente.”
“Cavaretta's has the most authentic Italian sandwiches in the Valley, as well as a great little Italian mini mart. I often go when they're busy, but the atmosphere is so friendly, and the aroma is so enticing, that I really don't mind the wait. It seems as though every time I'm there, I meet someone who wants to talk about how long they've been a Cavaretta's customer, and how much they love their food and whole experience!”
“I finally had a chance to check out Made in Italy Bistro. I ordered a pizza and it was delicious and can't wait to go back for another one. The owners came by and said hello. Very nice! And friendly. I highly recommend this place. Also the prices were fair.”
“Went for lunch buffet, most affordable buffet I have ever seen in Los Angeles. Food is good, service is good and atmosphere is good. They have open air seats too.”
“I've been eating their spaghetti for more than 30 years , not every day, though ? , since they are still in LA , I highly recommend you guys to try their spaghetti.”
“I had such a beautiful dinner date here. The food and service was fantastic. You can tell they have that homey feel. Such a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely come again.”
“Always a great experience with fresh and seasonal menu updates. Often fully booked, so I would highly recommend reservations. Great flatbread, various toasts, steak, octopus, all great!”
“Enjoyed a delicious family dinner at Casa Nostra! Beet salad (Insalata Di Barbabietola) was amazing, and the duck parpadelle was the star. Just wished they had Montepulciano by the glass!”
“So, I made a pit stop at Modern Bakery on my way back from LA to satisfy my bagel craving, and let’s just say it was a bit of a mixed bag.Located in the Westerfield shopping center, parking was a bit of a hassle, but I pushed through in the hopes of a delicious bagel experience. Stepping inside, I was greeted by a tempting display of baked treats – from chocolate chip cookies to cinnamon buns, they had it all. The bagel display on the back wall caught my eye, and I was eager to dive in.The staff was friendly and knowledgeable as I placed my order for a plain bagel with cream cheese, tomatoes, and lox. However, I was a bit disappointed when my bagel arrived untoasted – it wasn’t suggested, nor did I think to ask. Nevertheless, the bagel itself was fantastic – flavorful and with a satisfying depth. The generous amount of cream cheese, lox, and tomatoes made it a hearty and enjoyable meal.Moving on to the seating area, it had a cozy vibe with wood tones that added to the ambiance. However, I couldn’t help but notice the dirty floor – crumbs from the day before were visible and felt underfoot, which was a bit off-putting. It definitely needed a good sweep and clean-up.Service-wise, I found it to be on the slower side, especially considering I was the only customer there. It took longer than expected to get a bagel, which was a bit frustrating.Overall, while the bagel itself was delicious, the cleanliness of the establishment and the slower service left me feeling hesitant to return. Here’s hoping for a cleaner and faster experience next time!”
“Food is absolutely delicious, as others have said, it's so "real" looking and tasting you have to re-read the "100% Vegan" on the menu to convince yourself. All 6 staff members we encountered were incredibly friendly and seemed to genuinely like being there. Nice, quiet atmosphere allowed for conversation. Overall exemplary experience and I can't wait to go back!”
“Great breakfast burritos. Chill location. Guy taking the orders didn't care to talk much, but why should he? Did great getting orders out and that's what really matters .”
“Fantastic falafel ?. Fresh and moist just the the way it is intended. The pita is fresh and delicious. Only thing missing is the dessert. Highly recommend Hummus Lali a great addition to the restaurants around.”
“I really enjoyed the place, it was an amazing experience and the dubbel Bier is great, thanks to having a nice and welcoming brewing company, another excellent point is the games to kill time, when you brew some beers the experience is magnified.I'm just counting the time to come back in any available time that We have to visit!”
“Food is fresh and full of great flavor!!!Had the Pad See Ew, Green Curry Chicken, Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice, and the Papaya Salad and three of us finished it all it was so good!!! Looking forward to coming back and trying the Thai Basil and the Tom Ka.The owner Donerick was welcoming, friendly and fun to talk to!”
“It's really beautiful if you're on a date. The outside seating is lovely. It's fine dining-ish, but they don't really follow the rules. I was a party of 4, and they cleared 3 of my friend's plates as I was still eating!! Then proceeded to drop a dessert list. Rude.”
“I love this spot the owner has great Persian food , the kinda flavor that is so different then the rest of the Persian res in the area, I swear the owner is this older nice men the place has home made food smells so good !He makes the best horash sabzi it’s the green herbs stow it comes with a side of rice and it’s really delicious! My friend loves kabobs so he orders that and says it’s very good !All the locals of the area eat here :)So in case you are in the Woodland Hills neighborhood I recommend grabbing lunch at this placeI enjoy every time I come here it reminds meof my moms food , so thank you for this”
“My wife and I had a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Munay. Their special was an amazing four course dinner with some of the best Bruchetta we've ever had, veggie bisque, we split an outstanding Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes to die for and some of their pesto pasta, and finally had a fun chocolate mousse/white chocolate shell dessert that with what seemed to be spun sugar that they lit on fire. The staff were fantastic, welcoming, and quick. The ambiance was fun Valentine's Day hearts and pseudo candles in a warm environment.Overall, it was an outstanding experience and we can't wait to return soon.”
“I ordered lobster tacos. The lobster meat is cooked perfectly, the cabbage gives it a crunch, and I like the spiciness from the chipotle aioli. This atmosphere reminds me of dining out in Mexico. Superb service. I recommended all to try this place.”
“Great experience all around. Very attentive service and excellent food. We ordered shrimp and salmon dishes that were very tasty. Also tried the tiramisu and it was so creamy and fresh. We all had a great time w happy hour wine deals. Great place for family or intimate dinner. Will be back.”
“Great, cozy little spot. The owner, Phil, made an effort to come to our table and get to know us. After speaking with him, I felt like I was at home and eating in a friend’s home. Our server was an amazing lady with blonde hair (unfortunately cannot remember her name) was exceptional and very sweet and attentive. My boyfriend and I ordered the sausage pasta and it was so delicious! We also got the flourless chocolate cake for dessert with raspberry sauce on top. This cake was made fresh by Phil and was absolutely AMAZING! Phil gave us a tour of the bar at the end of the meal, and the bar area had a lot of character and was very nice. Phil offered us a “nightcap” on him.Overall, great food, exceptional service, very clean and cozy atmosphere. Great for date night, girl’s night out, or family dinner. Will definitely be coming back.Thank you, Phil!”
“Woodlands is the best option for south Indian food in the valley. If you are looking for vegetarian South Indian food around the San Fernando valley (Topanga Cyn area) then try Woodland's!”
“They used to have a covered outdoor patio but that got taken down but it looks like the place was remodeled recently because I don't remember it looking like this the first time. We visited during the pandemic as our first time and this was our second time back. We were greeted and the lady at the cash register was very friendly and pleasant. I didn't know if I should get the torta or a burrito. I always get a burrito so I decided to opt for the torta this time; it was a good choice. They loaded the torta up with fresh ingredients, including fresh cheese, and avocado, and they have the grilled onions on the side, which were delicious addition with a little bit of chips. I got horchata to drink, and it was very tasty. Perfect mixture. Overall, the establishment was very clean and there was plenty of sauces and sides to complement the dishes. The dishes or bag, and I would've loved for my boyfriend to share my torta, but he was too hungry and the food was too good. The customer service was top-notch and we would definitely return again.”
“The best fast food restaurant in the area, very good service from the very attentive cashiers. The excellent food at Diablo Burguer, you have to try it, I will definitely visit it often.”
