“Great venue, very friendly and warm staff.. felt very welcome, and it was a fun and relaxed environment. Pretty amazing that there’s such a nice standup comedy club that doesn’t require driving all the way to San Francisco or San Jose. And lastly, Alameda Comedy Club has by far the most extensive and delicious menu of any comedy club I have ever been to. Truffle slides, brisket sliders, chicken sliders, vegan sliders, grilled cheese, tomato bisque soup… are you kidding me?! Amazing. We’ll be back!“

“We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. They are two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.“

“Another PHENOMENAL experience! It's Alameda Restaurant week so busier than usual but we got in at 6:30 Sat and were out by 7:10. Ordered the burger and chick sando- both have been on our minds for a while but we always get Trips Triple and it felt like we were cheating but man was it worth it! DELICIOUS! Kind of wish we got the Crab Stew/Cioppino because it's looked amazing but we have no regrets with our sandwiches and the awesome Brussels sprouts.“

“Hobnob rocks and was blown away by the quality of their drinks and brunch offerings. The cocktails are expertly mixed, and the food is top-notch, especially their steak with what I suspect is a divine coffee rub. Each dish we tried was a delight, but the steak truly stood out as a must-try. Hobnob has quickly become a favorite local spot for its cozy atmosphere and exceptional fare. “I visited Alameda Grill for the first time last week. It's actually a easy place to miss because you would think it's part of the bike shop next door. The owner is very nice and will accommodate any substitutions with your combo order. The burgers are good and goes so well with the crunchy steak fries. This place also offers Korean dishes which I'm eager to try next time. I feel this place would get more attention if it had bigger signage so that you'd know this place was hiding there.“

“Cafe Jolie was a very welcomed discovery after a disappointing experience at Neptune's around the corner. Great place to have breakfast before exploring local attractions.Very nice corner restaurant with European flare, good parking and fun energy. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating with lovely atmosphere. Great menu with reasonable prices. The food was excellent and filling. We enjoyed a Croque Madame, Cinnamon French Toast as well as Crab Cake Benedict. All dishes hit the spot perfectly. For 4 people expect to pay around $100 with soft drinks and coffee. Food was prepared relatively quickly and served warm. There is a small menu for kids as well featuring usual favorites. The service was slow, not attentive or interested. While the host seemed very accommodating the waitress was the complete opposite. Much training is required to elevate the customer experience in the dining room. If customers sit down and wait for 20 minutes, it feels like they are being ignored. It is not a good feeling. Perhaps starting them of with some drinks is manageable even in the most busiest of places. Again, food was great and that is what ultimately brings us back. There is a big parking lot free of charge just behind the building with at least 2 spots for persons with disabilities.Kid-friendliness: Has Kids menu“

“This was a place we decided to have dinner at after a long day. I should say, the location is amazing! You can see water and boats ?️ right from the windows. When we got there and waited for like 5 minutes, the receptionist would not show up and we had to call the restaurant and tell them we are there. After that we made our order and waited. All the way to the moment when we were about to finish our food, everything was great. The waiter started taking away dishes and cleaning the table right in from of our faces without even asking. There was an appetizer my husband wanted to eat later, but it was taken away. And generally you don’t feel comfortable when someone is wiping the table right in from of you, specifically when my husband was still eating. I think it would be nice to ask about it. In the end, I said that my olives were too salty and they were taken away from the check. I appreciate that. Still, somehow I ? that olives should be there by default in pasta ??Anyways, I think towels could be a little cleaner (too much dust and little pieces of villi on it) Rather than that, everything was fine.“

“Service was friendly and elegant. Food and cocktails are good quality and creative. Pizza crust and house made pasta are tasty, though the desserts are a bit too sweet. It can be a bit loud when crowded with a soaring ceiling and many hard surfaces. No paper menus; you have to use a QR code to look at the DoorDash app then tell the server your order. I get that this is a cheaper way to update the menu, but it’s really tacky at this price point and level of service.“
