Ordered Chicken Satay, Rendang, and Borneo with Flat rice noodles. The Chicken Satay was well seasoned with an even amount of satay sauce on top and crispy fried onions sprinkled on top. The Satay sauce was missing from the order but otherwise this was pretty good. The Rendang was savory and the beef had a good amount of moisture in it. One of the most authentic Indonesian flavor deliveries around. Borneo Eatery has a simple yet elegant menu for food that you do not find much in other places. With not only Indonesian flavors, there are even dishes you may be familiar with from Singapore. From noodle soups to Hokkien Mie there is quite a home feel to everything served here. I can certainly see why they have been mentioned in the Michelin reviews.

Lowkey I want to gatekeep this place that’s how good it was. We always wanted to try this place and drove by a couple of times and always saw line out of the door. We decided to give a shot on Friday night around 6:30 and it was surprisingly only half full. Got seated right away.
