Good local spot for dim sum. There's a variety of dishes to choose from. All the dishes we ordered were delicious but I would recommend the House Special Rice Roll and Crispy Cream Yam Ball. The only downside is they don't have the dim sum carts that go around. Some of the dumpling items cooled down and stuck to each other or to the parchment paper in the tin containers it came in. Very nice place. Came to this place at the recommendation of a friend and glad I did. Food- Came here for dimsum takeout because we generally do not have very good authentic dimsum out way. Have ventured around all of Los Angeles and it's generally decent but need to travel farther East for really good dimsum and China Red's certainly lived up to expectations. Good dim sum! Of course like any most other authentic Chinese restaurants, service is efficient but non-existent. You will have to speak up in order to get what you need because they are extremely busy on a Saturday. But in general, in these type of places food quality matters more and this place delivers. For shrimp dumplings, the skin is very thin and there are plenty shrimp filling inside. Siu Mai was also good with plenty meat, a lot bigger than some of the other dim sum places...read full review
