Joy Kitchen

L.A. traffic is no joke. I often hear that when you want to meet someone in L.A. expect them to always be late. As my companion and I arrived here I thought the place was closed. I check my Yelp app and it says it should be open. I knocked and called, no answer. Then I walk around the back and noticed a nice lady preparing stuff in the kitchen. I've been wanting to try this place out for a while now. Finally had a chance to stop by on a weekday afternoon for dinner. Foos here is ok, not great or bad, but service was definitely lackluster. There was only 1 staff member minding the restaurant. When we entered, he did not even greet us. We had to ask whether we can be seated to dine-in. After being seated, we noticed the table was disgusting. It had a layer of oil. I think they used an old, oily rag to wipe the table down...read full review

Good food and comfortable outdoor seating. The only thing that wasn't so nice was the use of plastic silverware and disposable plates, which seemed unneccessary and a waste of plastic.
