Who doesn't love a night of eating Taiwanese bar food? Skewers are usually a good option, but some other dishes that I highly recommend; COLD CUCUMBERS (it comes in a big a** bowl, with lots of it!), CHEESE CORN, FRIED BUNS w/ CONDENSED MILK, and the TAIWANESE STINKY TOFU (could be more stinky, but it's ok!). ENJOY! PS: It can get busy, so get a resy or make sure you get there early enough to wait a bit.
It was a Sunday night around 10 pm and everything was closed on our way home from Universal Studios... I found this place on Yelp And noticed that it was open late... we were so happy they were open and even happier that the service and the food were excellent! The place was cute and the staff were attentive, we were a party of 3 and ordered a beef Skewers, chicken Skewers, spicy cucumber Salad,Shiitake Mushroom skewer, Beef Noodle Soup and chicken fried rice. The food was delicious...and the best part - it was open late for a dine in meal! Almost every other good Chinese food restaurant closes at 9:00pm. The Barn is open until 11:30pm weekdays, and Friday/Saturday until 12:30am! Who does that anymore? Bravo!
