“Every aspect of going where was phenomenal. The food was great (I had the cheesesteak, my friend had the Kong burger). The food was great, it was twice as cheap as everything else in the area, and the service / environment was great. We couldn't manage to bring the food home because we ended up just gorging and eating it on our way back. I'd fully recommend the spot, and I'll try to hit it up on my way through from now on.”
“The entire experience was excellent. The staff, including the owner were outstanding with their service. Attentive without being intrusive and extremely professional. The food was all excellent and the restaurant was extremely clean. I highly recommend!”
“Surprisingly great sandwich place.Excellent food and service at decent prices.Good vegetarian fare.(But I had the Reuben)No inside. Eat on sidewalk table or in the nearby parks. Just a short block down from the mission/historical square on 3rd Street and across the street from a park with picnic tables.”
“Definitely a good spot to go to. The customer service is great, always checking to make sure everything is good and creating a great experience. Food is really good. No complaints.”
“Such a great little local Thai spot, albeit a bit expensive. After arriving from out of town to visit family for Thanksgiving, my family and I stopped in and enjoyed a quiet lunch at this wonderful little spot. The service was great, and the food was excellent. We had Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Green Curry and Spicy Eggplant and Tofu. All items were rich with flavor and well prepared. I do wish they'd been a bit more generous (especially for the cost), but overall we were pleased with the experience.Definitely consider checking out this great local business if you're in the area!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available, and the tofu/etc. was prepared marvelously!Kid-friendliness: While this spot does use formal dinnerware & silverware (glass cups, etc.) - it still provided a great experience for my kiddos. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was a 'formal' lunch, it definitely was a step up from typical hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurants.”
“Cozy spot for breakfast or lunch. We were on our way home from Pajaro Dunes and found this spot. All four of us had great meals. The burgers are massive, the eggs Benedict are great and the breakfast burrito has lots of options. There's bar, booth and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is classic diner with plenty of fun decor. The staff is super friendly and cheerful. There's plenty of parking.”
“Nice Cafe with the right amenities for your stop and go food for fuel needs. Friendly atmosphere that you can rely on to ensure your order is right! Stop on for a solid snack or just to see what other sweets are available!”
“Phenomenal coffee shop! The people working here were so kind and helpful! The coffee was equally as incredible! The aesthetic inside was also adorable. Our favorite drink was the golden hour if anyone needs a suggestion :) We were visiting from out of town and definitely would return here if ever back in Northern Cali! Highly recommend!”
“It's your typical, Hole in the wall joint...We all know these places make the Best food!! Well this place is no exception. My family orders from here All of the Time!!Lovely-Friendly- Family-Oriented Staff!!!”
“Store is located on the corner and not much parking to be had during the lunch rush so had park down the street and around three corner. There was a line and most seats were filled (good sign). Not an intimate place for a date, but a good place to go during lunch or after a movie. They do sell beer. The restroom is clean and they have 1 high chair. As for the pizza. It was great! I lived in NYC for 5 years and also Connecticut and I consider myself a pizza snob. The crust was light and airy with that char & crisp that you want. The sauce had that perfect blend of acidity, richness and the taste of tomato. The mozzarella was wonderful. I was transported. Easily the best plain slice I’ve had on the central coast. It’s a 30 minute drive from Monterey, but worth it.Definitely coming back.Price: $10.60 (includes a $1 tip)”
“Very good cookies and options. You can also ask for a custom cookie (if they have extra frosting and cookies on hand).Far superior to chain cookie spots like Crumbl. Service is very friendly. They also have cinnamon rolls and lemon bars.”
“Buen provecho! Just like grandma's house. Food was authentic and delicious. Homemade tortillas, quality meat, and great flavors. Salsa, rice, beans, sopa, caldo de res (beef and veg soup), tacos, enchiladas, all on point! The owner served us and was very sweet. Please support this family business. If you are in a hurry, call ahead.Kid-friendliness: The owner brought out extra sopa (soup) and little cookies for the kids. Hugh chaors and boosters available.”
“Came here for lunch with the family. Tried some of the Vietnamese dishes. It was delicious! The pho broth was very favorful and HOT (temperature). Extensive kids menu. Good size portions. You won’t leave hungry. There is a good chance you will bring home a take out container.Kid-friendliness: Has a great kids menu. Lots to choose from. Portions are good size too for hungry eaters.”
“Thank you Yelp for the recommendation!! We drove 2+ hours in a storm to find our destination closed, so we yelped and found this gem!! Highly recommend carnitas and artichoke enchiladas!! Yumm.”
“Westside Grill is our go-to restaurant in Gilroy. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is appropriate for casual meals as well as special celebrations. Service is efficient and friendly. (We are grateful they have not started adding a surcharge to the bill for employee benefits as some restaurants have.)”
“The California Benedict was very good. The coffee was a tad weak for my taste. Overall, a great casual restaurant to enjoy with family.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free meals are not available here.”
“This restaurant is very tucked in the corner its small, but spacious! The owner is nice, it was me and my partners first time going. We were excited to hear that there was a Korean style restaurant near by in prundale! We got the spicy pork bulgogi #10 and the #3 sweet and spicy chicken wings, definitely will be going back. Chicken was really crispy and juicy! The bulgogi was just the perfect amount of spice and flavor! Just hope that for the future they have more options of a menu.”
“The calamari tacos were huge, delicious, loved the jalapeños!!!I had the burger with cheese. I like that they had sautéed onions and raw onions, lots of good green lettuce. Salad was really good, i would just ask for the dressing on the side because i prefer less, but my husband loves his salad fully drenched., so for him it's perfect.Onion rings were good too.”
“This is a great place to bring snacks and unwind with Jeff's fabulous selection of wines. We always enjoy visiting with Jeff the owner. We are warmly greeted by Noe his sweet canine! Come check this place out I highly recommend it!”
“Food service = amazing! That's what I tend to go for but other then that my parents go there and it's a great business and great employees that has been there for many years and recognized that been there for more then 20 years working.... They must treat there staff very well !”
“Dietary restrictions: We were able to order egg whites, tofu, and also Low sodium optionsKid-friendliness: Had two boys with us that did great and had good menu selections available”
“Stopped by for coffee with some co-workers. I really liked my iced house coffee. The sweetness level is not adjustable but it has great flavor, not too sweet as long as you mix it up. The interior has nice decor with a few instagramable spots and bar seating. They had a good selection of non-beers (sours/ciders and such). I'll be brining my husband by for drinks!”
“Stopped on a whim driving home to SC, but this is now a destination spot for cookies whether or not I am headed down 1! They told me everything baked fresh everyday, and we got a selection of frosted/fancy to basic oatmeal and chocolate chip, and they were all absolutely delicious, and clearly fresh baked. Marianne's ice cream always a bonus! Lovely tables to sit outside on the deck and get your sweet on.”
“Yes! Take a stroll down through all the vintage and antique shops after visiting Mission San Juan Bautista. Then after your walk, stop by and get some ice cream. They have some unique and tasty flavors and you can sample them! Then when you order be prepared to receive a huge cone with an almost too generous scoop of ice cream. A double can be easily shared between two people. I got the watermelon soft serve and it hit the spot for something light on a warm day. I'll go back again when I am in town to sample and eat the rest of the flavors!”
“The food and the atmosphere at Pizza Pasta Villa were great. And our server was very nice and friendly. However, we had a very long wait for our food to be served to us. It was unusually long. That was the only downside to our otherwise nice dining experience.”
“Stopping on the way from the Bay area to Big Surr, this place was perfect. My partner needed a place to take a work call, and though it was a bit too loud for that, the atmosphere was awesome. We didn't end up getting any coffee, but I bought a bottle of wine - the shop has it's own in-house sommelier! The food looked great, but can't comment personally on that. My main take away was: cool vibe, lots of purchasing options, fun plants & decor, and cool employees: the barista even commented on the book I was reading, The Pearl! *SPOILER* I will say, the barista did say it was a lighter book for Steinbeck, but a baby gets poisoned in the first 3 pages! What! Anyway, you should go here!”
“Only reason I gave it a 4 star is because they really don't have lots of food options but the taste is perfect and the girls are really nice and don't have lots of kids options and the camarones a la Diabla are so yummy wish the had fish and gave use avocado with the chips after all thier part of Gilroy harvest”
“One of the better wine makers in the region. The wines had a little more body then surrounding vineyards. They offered two different tasting menus. One menu was $20 per person the other was $30 per person. If you spend $50 on wines you get your tasting fee waved. One thing we enjoyed about our wine tasting was they encouraged people to bring their own snacks for the wine tasting experience, we had stopped in at Corralitos Market for some of their house made sausages and cheese.”
“Love that we can grab food and snacks all in one place, everyone is always so nice! Definitely try out their fresas con crema and agua de piña, the pizza is always nice and cheesy!”
“The food was delicious, and everything had great flavor. Although I didn't try the drinks, they looked great as well. Not the most family-friendly place, but they did have a kids menu. Also had plenty of outside seating and heaters.Parking: Parking only available on the streetKid-friendliness: It's not the most kid friendly as it's mostly set up like a bar, but there is outside seating”
