We had a pleasant lunch at this Taiwanese-style hot soup specialty restaurant. Parking was easier than expected with the closing of Ten Ten dim sum restaurant close by. Already there was a queue at the door fifteen minutes before it’s 11am opening. I like the bright, clean and spacious interior. Got lucky to be seated right away on a Friday night at 6pm. Server explained the menu right away and recommended the house or beef pot since it’s our 1st time. He said it’s 2 of the most popular . I don’t eat pork and I noticed that most of the soups have pork. We ordered the fermented tofu and enjoyed it even if the odor is off-putting. Smells like fart lol. We went here today to try a Taiwanese hot pot with friends. We got 3 different hot pots to share. All were delicious. The spicy one (medium spicy) was just a little hot for a few people at the table so just know that medium hot is probably very hot for novices. We enjoyed very much!
