This restaurant is all about comfort food. Whether it's the BBQ Pork, Roast Duck, Beef Chow Fun, egg noodle and wonton soup, rice noodle soup...you can't go wrong with this place. The one star off is for the same reason...traditional comfort food place is not always the prettiest place. If you come in with the right mindset...you leave with your belly filled and heart content.
This is my idea of a classic Chinese restaurant with roast duck hanging by necks, char siu (bbq pork) and good assortment of noodles. I picked up takeout, but noticed that Most seats were filled, which is positive review in itself. Almost 5* for me. A dash more flavor would have gotten it.

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a child. Kimtar was one of my Grandmother's favorite restaurants.The bbq pork alone is worth the trip. Throw in some duck and it's an amazing meal. And don't get me started on their orange chicken! Gosh, it's wonderful.When I'm craving good meat, Kimtar is my go to place!
