If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy your dinner it's not here. The place is popular & always crowded & loud. The food is good & portions are big. Waitresses are great. Very attentive. My complaint is with the bathroom. No seat liners-the dispenser is always empty. Floor always has dirty toilet tissue on the floor or bowls not flushed. They need to ck them often & clean up. My mom's plate was overwhelming proportionally wise she did order a Mexican dish. My son ordered a basket of french fries and not alcart the portion we got was like all the alcart. I ordered carne asada nachos with pico de gallo and jalapenos on the side.. I told my mom I felt like I was pretty much taken. However the visit with my mother was great. The atmosphere was nice and the customer service was good.

Food is solid and comforting, portions are generous. The vibe is also friendly- neither touristy nor pretentious (FWIW in Atwater, no hate). The physics space is really what sells us, the pre-Colombian themed murals, furniture, and decor set a great tone. The chilaquiles are served all day, and the sauce is delicious.
