I know many people who do not prefer buffets for many reasons, however; Hodel’s in Bakersfield, California has many great qualities that will be preferred by them. The food does not sit on the tray for long periods of time. It is fresh. As a matter of fact, you can order some food of whatever they have available behind the counter! My first time at Hodels and it was wonderful. They had friendly and helpful staff and the food was great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They also cater to conferences and events just incase anyone wants to know. Thank you Hodels for a great visit.

Just had Thanksgiving dinner at Hodel’s. The turkey was juicy but no flavor. The ham was undercooked, it was cold. The dressing was unlike any dressing I’ve ever had I couldn’t tell what it was. The tri- tip was good and the green beans were the best thing on the menu. They charge. 20.95 for a quality of food that wasn’t up to there everyday food. I’ve been going there for a longtime and this was the worst I’ve had there.
