My wife and I stopped here to get some lunch on the way home from Fresno. The outside was an ugly, old building, but once you go inside, the service, the decor and most importantly, the food was PHENOMENAL! My wife is from Culiacan Mexico, so she's a tough judge and even she was impressed. We will be coming back again!
Being from the East side I am hesitant to try central Bakersfield Mexican food. I am happy that I did. The Nachos with chile Verde were tasty as heck. The shrimp, fish tacos, and chille rellano were exquisite. My iced tea glass never saw the bottom, and my husband confirmed the the adult beverage was not stingy on the alcohol. Loud music is my only complaint.

Went with a colleague who highly recommended this place as one of his favorites. I was skeptical, but when the food was served, it was a large portion, very sumptuous, and I actually finished all of it. The salsa sauce served with tortilla chips was awesome. Some may find it spicy, but I loved it.
