I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I just discovered this place by random chance today and it was so lovely I needed to review. The food is quite literally some of the best I've had. I didn't think I liked sushi or fish, but I had just never had it done so well. It was spectacular, and no matter what you order you will leave happy. These last 3 months since I've moved to bakersfield, I have been on a personal crusade to find a sushi spot to replace the one I lost. Today during my journey, due to complete whim, I found myself inside Sushi Hanashi. The place was very quite and relaxed, I'm guessing not too busy on a Thursday afternoon. My family has been ordering sushi from here for a long time now, and each experience has been a great one. From dining in on a birthday and getting a little light show and music from the staff, to ordering takeout for a birthday and being gifted a complimentary set of cute chopsticks. The staff is skilled, kind, and attentive.
