“Egg Heaven is reopened and good as ever! My partner and I had breakfast at Egg Heaven Cafe the other day and it was worth the wait for them to re-open. The place was pretty busy and we had to wait a little bit to be seated but, it was worth the wait. On this lunch visit with my father I had the 62 Thunderbird Burger (with strips of green Ortega chiles), onion rings and a bottomless iced tea. The burger comes partly deconstructed on the plate. The leaf lettuce, tomato and pickles come on the side so that you can add only what you like onto the burger. A very thoughtful touch. My father had the chorizo and egg breakfast plate with beans, rice, tortillas (corn or flour) and a bottomless coffee. All the ingredients are high quality, expertly cooked and generously portioned. The only negative was the sticker shock. $24! Without a tip. Prices are getting ridiculous. $4.25 for ice tea. I didn't look at the receipt because the waitress didn't bring one to me, but just rang up my card. I was in a hurry so I just assumed the sweet potato fries were extra. This visit I had the breakfast croissant with sausage and egg and crispy hash brown potatoes. My friend had the Ozzie special which is a steak two eggs hash browns and toast. The eggs were as ordered his steak was cooked perfectly good flavor and tender. The croissant was fresh and flaky. Service was attentive, and friendly. The restaurant is decided in two the front has large windows booths and a counter. It was updated in the 80s to a 50s throwback look with pink neon and white Formica. The bar is dark with natural woods a small dance floor. In the evening it has its own entry The parking lot has space for both cars and big rig trucks. Restrooms are extremely small in the front while not huge the restrooms in the bar are less claustrophobic.“

“Used to be deliscious. It was sub-par when we went on Sunday morning. Grilled cheese had only 1 single cheese, not even the deli slice but the kind that barely melts. So there was a little cheese in the middle and just thick bread on the sides... it was dry as heck and barely toasted! The fries were cold. My friends burger was drenched in sauce- and she only got a handful of fries when she ordered a side. It was not great at all. And rather pricey. I ordered a grilled cheese combo and a side of zucchini to share, and it was $ 18. Too bad. Won't be going here again.“
