“The best food on the island , the service & salsa Can not Be beat . The shrimp Fajitas are amazing, the owners always make us feel welcome and do not put restrictions on chips & salsa like The other place . no oil or greasy food here! Rice & guacamole, homemade salsa! Ruben's mole- the best I've ever had. We make our own requests for shrimp nachos and they have no problems filling it to make us happy. So sad to not have them on Monday. Ugh makes me appreciate Tuesday even more ! The chicken soup when you're feeling under the weather is a sure fire cure. I recommend this place #1”

“Decided to stop by and try this local coffee spot today and it didn’t disappoint. I’m a plain Jane when it comes to coffee, I just get it black. She does have a full menu for specialty drinks though! Not sure if she made espresso shots and poured water in it instead of having brewed coffee but either way it was great! It was only like $2 or so as well. Will be back. (:Parking: It’s a drive through but there are parking spaces in case you wanted to walk up.”

“Great service, the nicest people! I had the extra large half Hawaiian half peperoni and it was great. Nice dining room and the kicker is the bar is in the same building. It also has outdoor seating and although i havent been there for karaoke or live band , it sounds fun. Check it out”

“We had fabulous pizza ?. It was different and delicious. We also enjoyed karaoke and dancing... ?Parking: Parking is good for disability people. They should be able to park on top next to the restaurant. There is plenty of parking down below, but you do have to walk up a few stairs to reach the restaurant.?Kid-friendliness: Everyone is very nice. I love it when the owner is there, she is a fun person. ?I also wanted to say having a water view is a beautiful thing! ?”

“A small but popular Mexican restaurant on the main drag through what must be called downtown Bethel Island.Breakfast choices were extensive at very reasonable prices, the most popular being 3 choices of items for $7.99 on a weekend. I personally had a delicious vegetarian omelet with fresh fruit for $12.99.Meal service took a little longer than one would have liked but the place was packed and we were a group of 8. When served, everyone was very satisfied and coffees were regularly topped off.A little gem and worth a visit.Vegetarian options: Try the veggy omelette.”

“Stop by to try this place out after hanging out in the area. I love Italian food so I thought why not. Best decision I ever made. The pasta was so fresh, the sauce and meatballs were so flavorful. If I ever went to Italy I would have imagined that the food and atmosphere would be just the same. The service was absolutely amazing as well. Definitely a must try Italian restaurant in Brentwood.”

“Came here for lunch for the first time this week and so glad that I did. Ordered a barbacoa taco with cheese with a side of consomme, a chicharron gordita and the green Agua Fresca that had chia seeds (I forget the name). Everything was super tasty. First impression was that the taco was a little small but it was actually generously stuffed with barbacoa. I would definitely return to try other items on the menu.”

“Had lunch here for the first time today. Food was amazing. I would recommend their milkshakes, they have a whole variety of different flavors you can mix together. What really made this experience stand out to me was the excellent customer service. More specifically from our server Rachel. She did an excellent job making us feel welcomed and heard. We came up from the peninsula on our way to our boat in the Delta and stopped for breakfast at the Black Bear Restaurant in Oakley. The restaurant was in tip-top shape, well taken care of and managed, food was absolutely yummy, and Veronica had a smile on her face during our entire visit. She was just exceptional and spectacular! “This is my go to place. I have had some delicious Burgers. But Hd remains consistent the stove is friendly the food comes out quick and hot and the pricing is very fair. I'm always greeted with a friendly face. The inside it pretty much standard I love all the plants it's laid back it the local neighbors burger joint . I have not had a bad burger yet.”

“Usually I order online and take to-go, but last Saturday I went to dine in and there was a server, she was so sweet and beautiful. Her service was fast and she helped us with everything we needed. We ordered chicken Baryani, 6 perice tandoori chicken and butter chicken and rice. The food was delicious. I recommend everyone to come and eat here. Fast amazing service and delicious food. Next time I go I hope I see that server.”

I went with the BBQ plate and the gyoza, which was enough food for two people and only about $25. Not to mention the food came out very quickly. “You can't beat it! Seniorita's are so addicting! Soft, bite sized, sweet, warm goodness. It takes me 1-2 bites and boom, it's in my tummy! Grab a box for you & your family (separate boxes, ya know, so you get more for yourself). But seniorita's are not the only good thing they have! They have tons of other Filipino baked goods as well as good ole pan de sal! Staff is always nice and helpful with a smile. Starbread is great for either something quick, work, or even parties! They always have it ready.”
