A resounding “feh!” That’s “mediocre“ for the goys. In my search for the best deli in LA, I stopped by Nate and Al’s and ordered their signature, eponymous sandwich. The pastrami was served as a cold cut or it was just lukewarm. The fries were not crispy, soft, or salty enough to be remarkable. Our final food choice in LA was Nate' n Als. This has a prime location on Beverly Hills right by Rodeo Drive.The decor was 1970's with a very brown vibe going on. This is a Jewish deli with a casual atmosphere second only in my experience to Katz deli in New York.The guy at the front desk taking take out orders was excellent and attentive. I recommend 100%Our servers were friendly and smiling.They even made an effort to take the order in French.The apple cinnamon tart is excellent and the iced latte and ice tea are very good (Be careful, it's a real tea without sugar.)The waiter was really very nice, offering me a second coffee that he had left over.The portions are very generous.
