Simply the best. Sadly this gem of a neighborhood institution is closing soon so get in while you can to the most traditional and always amazing sushi in Los Angeles. No rolls, nothing modern - just amazing technique, the best quality ingredients prepared by a master.
Excellent sushi! I highly recommend this very authentic Japanese restaurant. I just had the chirashi bowl, tuna hand and sushi uni and it was absolutely amazing and very fresh. And the service was excellent as well.

This was the best sushi I have (and likely will ever) had. This unsuspecting restaurant is clean and intimate with a very authentic feel to what I experienced in Japan. The owner and his wife are incredibly gracious and she refilled my complimentary matcha at least 4 times, never letting it get too cold! But the sushi.... Let me tell you.
