I went to breakfast this morning with a friend of mine and thought we would try the Lumberjack. We were seated quickly but sat for almost 20 minutes & were never acknowledged or brought coffee or water, while everyone around us (that came after) were tended to.Let me mention that we were not of the same decent as everyother person in the building.I am a resident of the mountain and was treated like a tourist (a white one at that). I own a business as does my friend, we pay taxes, we by local and are respectful to EVERYONE regardless of they're skin color. This place absolutely does not adhere to the same moral code as most people. After waiting with no assistance we got up and left.We will not be sending any business to them from our customers, family or friends. We ended up finding another place to go, we had a great breakfast, fantastic service and will definitely be returning to the second place. Also, I would like to mention, that we told the second restaurant how we were treated & the owner said that it's not the first time they've heard that.If you are looking to sit with no service and be completely ignored, then this is the place to go!

AVOID COMPLETELY! JUST leave, if service is this bad the food is likely worse. Freezing inside and uncomfortable. Waited and waited, no coffee, no water, and zero service. Just the two of us dining for a late breakfast. It was NOT exceptionally busy and yet couldn't even get a water or coffee for a table of two, 20 minutes and the Sahara desert would have been more inviting. Yet the waitress managed to seat, provide drinks, and take orders for two very large Hispanic families that arrived after us, meanwhile we still have nothing. I will let you figure out why we were NOT waited on. We left and so glad we did. Went to a sweet little breakfast spot with delicious food that had amazing service ?

My brother and I got breakfast at this little spot in Big Bear City and oh my gosh it was so much food. These days it's hard to find places that will give you great portions especially in Big Bear. The only other place that goes large portions for Breakfast Food is Grizzly Manor Cafe in Big Bear Lake.My brother ordered the Chorizo Breakfast burrito ? and that was one giant burrito. He couldn't finish it!?I ordered the Lumberjack Benedict which is basically Biscuits And Gravy with Ham, Cheese and Eggs. It was delicious. I barely finished it. ?I'd recommend this place if you want a big fulfilling breakfast with good traditional coffee ☕☕☕

Order a breakfast burrito from here. And it was the biggest breakfast burrito I have ever seen. I was expensive ~$16 but a ton of food. It lasted me 3 meal.

Hands down favorite. The family that runs it is amazing. Service, food quality all banging. On a weekend, get there early to skip the wait. But the wait is worth it! They're not afraid to go spicy with the salsa or green sauce and I really respect that. Traditional breakfasts are super tasty as well.
