“Good tacos, but the quesabirria is so damn good! Beware: it's the kind of food that you don't want to stop eating because it's so yummy, even when you're stuffed! Recently you can't tip on the card though, so it's more of a hassle, otherwise it would be 5 stars.”
“I requested a medium rare burger and I got medium, however I didn't send it back because the charcoal flavor was something I hadn't tasted in so long. It was delicious.”
“A cozy pizza pub on the main drag. The entrance is tucked away, just off the street. They seem to have a lot of big parties come in, I say so because the tables in "the pit" are really big. Screens everywhere make watching the game (probably why they have the big tables) easy. The food is good too, about what you'd expect from a pizza pub. The servers were mellow, helpful and friendly.”
“The food and coffee are amazing. The space is great. You can look over the brook waters of San lorenzo River. There's a tree sticking out of the building which actually adds to the charm. It's raining right now and it's dripping through which I don't mind it at all. Again it's an actual tree in the whole building. Service is great too!”
“Laurie was so kind to work with me to make a gender reveal cake for me and my husband. We got our wedding cake from her about 2 years ago and she used the same frosting + cake recipe, which was so special (which is why the outside is pink - raspberry frosting by request!). She was so easy to work with and made this experience so special for us. Highly recommend for any dessert need, but especially special occasions!!!!”
“Good coffee, great lox bagels friendly staff. Stay away from Starbucks and their corporate corn syrup sludge. Jenna Sue's makes proper espresso drinks and has much better food as well. The baristas are fast and super cool people. Also a nice place to sit it front and watch the going on downtown.Parking: Park around the corner or across the streetKid-friendliness: Not a ton of room in here, but the staff are very friendly with kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs to the front door, but a ramp to bypass them.”
“Had a great time the bar is predominantly locals, but everyone is friendly. You can order food from surrounding areas. All the patreons had dog treats and were welcoming. The bar is decorated in old cool signs of you're in the area it is worth stopping. CASH ”
“Great deal on 9 holes of golf. Disc golf on the back 9 is super nice too. Wish the bar and grille were open more than just Tuesday sat Sunday but it's a start. Glad someone brought back the gold course after the czu fire”
“My favorite taqueria for the last 20 years. I've had many tacos and burritos in my life but nothing compares to Taqueria Los Gallos. They make their carnitas nice and crispy and always have the best salsa selection. I have moved but make sure to stop whenever I'm in town. I wish they would open up a location in Reno,Nevada! We could use an authentic taqueria!”
“Scopazzi's is the best. The staff is always great, the food is always great, and the atmosphere is one of the best the county has to offer, maybe the best, in fact. If you are coming from far away, it's worth it. Make the drive, have an amazing dinner or brunch or whatever you are in time for. Take your time, and enjoy the place.I'm going to take a moment for a criticism though, so you all don't think I'm just some kind of shill... Don't order the sausage with the Fettuccine Alfredo. The sausage is tasty, but you will pay $5 for literally six tiny pieces of sausage. You will think to yourself... What kind of sausage costs $1 per quarter inch? You will be pretty upset.Okay, that aside, everything is great. Thursday only for Lasagna, and I think Saturday only for the prime rib. Both are great. If you aren't there on either of those nights, the lamb is fantastic.Final warning: this is not a cheap restaurant. For most of us, it's a place for anniversaries, prom dates, and marriage proposals. Still, it's worth it. If you are looking for someplace really special, and have saved up a few coins for that, you will get what you pay for here and have an evening to remember.Kid-friendliness: We have gone there with a toddler, and they found us a quiet space away from the other diners. They did everything they could to accommodate us, but we're also rightly and justly sensitive to the other diners. They couldn't have done better with a difficult situation. I think they even made him something completely off the menu, just for his tiny picky toddler self.”
“One of the cleanest restaurants I have ever seen. Was not expecting to have some of the best sushi I've had without leaving the US. Staff is unbelievably nice and prices are reasonable. An absolute must visit in Boulder Creek.”
“very good restaurant, I ordered at the little window, took a little bit of time, but was in-n-out qualityParking: about 20Wheelchair accessibility: Can order at a window along a sidewalk”
“My wife and I were reluctant to try this place because of some of the other reviews but after having breakfast here we can’t say enough good about it. It’s not the high class environment but if you want a really good, hardy, country breakfast that’ll fill you up this is the place.”
“Food was excellent ??. Service was slow but it was Valentine's Day but they apologized profusely I think a comped drink or something would have been nice. The atmosphere is just like true neighborhood French bistro.”
“This restaurant has surprised me more than any other, including Michelin-starred establishments. We had the Chef's Experience, and every single course delivered unexpected delights. This is exactly what I look for in high-end dining, and this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every conceivable way—be it presentation, the choice of ingredients, their innovative combinations, or, of course, the flavors.I don’t write reviews for restaurants because I’m pretty lazy, but I felt compelled to share this extraordinary and meaningful experience. As pescatarians, we asked if they could accommodate us with a pescatarian course, and they did it flawlessly, even at the last minute. AThere was a "surprise" course that truly lived up to its name, which I won't disclose to ensure future customers can experience it firsthand. One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to speak with Julian, the chef. He personally visits each table, passionately explaining the dish, his commitment to using local ingredients, and addressing all our questions and this interaction made our dining experience so much more special. This has quickly become our favorite restaurant in the Bay Area, and we can’t wait for our next visit!!Dietary restrictions: Pescatarian”
“the best sandwiches around! great service, amazing employees, friendly people, fast turn around on orders, great prices, the sandwiches are fresh and delicious! we love to sit and enjoy. everything about this place is on point. We keep coming back!”
“Love this little spot and adore Michele ....his hospitality and quality of food/drinks/ambiance make us feel like we're in Florence. Not a spot to be rushed through.”
“Had a delightful Friday night indulging in fine dining with my family. The venue was cozy and pleasantly uncrowded, with excellent service. The set menu provided a worry-free experience, and I particularly enjoyed the tasty scallops and fusion flavors of the cauliflowers. Despite not being a fan of chocolate cake, I was pleasantly surprised by its deliciousness!”
“I cannot describe what a wonderful experience we had at the Plumed Horse. The food was to die for, the service was excellent. We decided to order the Chef’s Tasting menu and added the wine pairing. The best decision we ever made. 3 hours of teasing our tongues with the most exquisite food and wine combinations.”
“This is probably the most authentic tapas place you can find in the bay area.Their cold items are exceptional. So are the rest of the warm tapas items. They have only 1 dessert menu and they have perfected it.We got two anchovi plates, pulpo, oyster mushroom, goat cheese, chorizo omlette and bacon wrapped dates. Everything is absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. You can tell they care about the food they serve you. They prepare the food as the order comes in and the wait is well worth.”
“This place is amazing and worth the stop! The pastries and coffee are delicious. You must try the bombolini! The pizza looks and smells appetizing but I have yet to try it. Staff is friendly, facilities are clean and I've never had trouble with parking.”
“This place was great!! The food was delicious, great ambiance, but the highlight was our server Timmy! He made the experience as amazing as it was, without a doubt! I definitely plan to return, but I will always be requesting to sit in Timmy’s section. Thank you, Timmy!! You rock!”
“This is my husband's GO TO Sushi spot when he is in Santa Cruz. Finally made it there on our wedding anniversary food spots. Their rolls come out so pretty and the quality is spot on. Service is wonderful even though the place fills up for dinner quickly; service is great!”
“This cafe is a bit small. There is one section for ordering and the room next door is seating. Nothing special about the drinks, but the service was quick. I do wished they opened a bit later.”
“Loved the food specially the vodka sauce pasta. It had an amazing flavor. We ordered the following items: vegetarian pizza, mushroom ravioli, vodka sauce gnocchi and tiramisu and pistachio dessert. They also had the spicy pepper. Everything was top notch.”
“If you're interested in gelato, then this is the place to go. They have lots of flavors, and all of them are good. I particularly like the strawberry. Along with that, all the kids who work there are friendly and helpful.”
“I had an iced mocha to drink. It tasted great! To eat, I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs. The gravy was excellent, and so were the biscuits. The eggs were just a little under seasoned, but were other wise great. Staff were very friendly. It did take about 5-10 minutes to be seated though. They should hire a little extra help.”
“A taste of New Orleans in Los Gatos. As close as you can get to the bayou without flying. All dishes are on point.Great Fried Chicken Po Boy sandwich with Cajun fries. Had the lunch combo which also came with a beer. Hush puppies were good but not necessary. Rich mans beans and rice is quite good.Parking: Parking behind the restaurant”
“Drinks are definitely on the more pricey side but they are fun creative, delicious and a definite conversion starter for those who enjoy a good cocktail. The staff was very knowledgeable and curated a delightful environment.”
“Jenny, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating, and the Chinese food and service was exceptional for a take out restaurant. There are tables to enjoy your meal if you choose to stay.”
