Ate here for lunch today! I'm Korean and the samgetang was so good! I also loved the banchan. Yes they only give you a small portion but they are quality and it also discourages waste which I love. I also love that they don't use MSG in their food- as mentioned by the owner in other comments below which is always something that is important to me. Yes MSG may not be bad for you but it does make me sleepy, thirsty, and gives me a headache. Many Korean restaurants in LA and OC also...read full review

I always go to Han Yang when I'm craving Korean soups, but I decided to try Mountain out & it hit the spot just as well! I got the samgye -tang, which had super clean and refreshing broth. The sticky rice inside the chicken as super tasty as I let it sit in the broth and soak up the moisture! Def a clean dish if you don't want something too heavy. The galbi-tang and yukgaejang were also really tasty and hearty! And I really enjoyed the seafood pancake, which was packed with shrimp.

I was craving abalone porridge and found this place on Yelp with 41 reviews that mentioned abalone porridge and decided to give them a try even though they are 35min away from my house - it was definitely worth the drive. I ordered the chicken ginseng soup and abalone porridge.
