“What can one say that hasn't been said. The #19 is hands down the best Pastrami Sandwich. One might think there is too much going on, but you'd be wrong. Try it and enjoy the symphony of flavors that your palate will enjoy. I was skeptical myself and proven very wrong. My only response to my wife was: I think I could cry right now. There are many other items to choose from and various forms of the Pastrami Sandwich, so have at it.A side note, I thought maybe it was too good to be true, so we came back a few days later. This time no tears just taste buds of pure enjoyment. I will now make every excuse to head down for this fluffy soft Rye bread sandwich & bring friends to share in the experience. Thank you for 76 years of hard work and continued service. I'm very sad I did not know about this place sooner.Parking: If your eating at Langers you get 90 min of free parking. It's a block away but your best choice with a very hard-working attendant watching your vehicle while your stuffing ones face with a #19“

“Meals and memories are made here at Bianca’s deli. Bianca’s deli (est 1983) is a small Mediterranean deli cafe in East Hollywood. They serve fresh, healthy salads, wraps, sandwiches, panini and pasta. Furthermore, they offer good breakfast and coffee. They provide exceptional service and food. I came here over Lunch and ordered a Grilled chicken salad and a Pasta Primavera. Food was fresh and satisfying; portions were abundant for their modest price. Staff were assiduous, caring and professional.Overall, I enjoyed their service and food. I highly recommend this deli.“

“Great deli, highly recommend. They are not open late, so you may have to get something to go. Lots of sandwiches, and other Italian food options. May want to phone in your order and save some time. No seating inside at the moment, no restrooms either. Parking, entrance, aisles and counter are accessible. Dedicated parking behind the building. If you have a date, stopping by to pick up stuff for a picnic is a great idea. Or my favorite, pick out a sandwich, bag of chips, and a hot item to split, you will have plenty to share. Then pick out each other's drink, and a cookie or two to share after your meal. Sharing food like this with a loved one can be really fun. They have a lot of interesting products for sale, could also pick out stuff to make a dinner later with. Even if you come alone, they will likely have something you will find appealing.Parking: Parking behind shop, should be plentyKid-friendliness: Should be able to find somethingWheelchair accessibility: Entrance, aisles, and counter are accessible.“

“Tucked away on the western side of Vine Street, just below Fountain Ave, resides The Vine Street Deli. With dozens of choices between entrée, sandwiches, coffees, teas, smoothies, and more, I decided to go for a goat cheese and chicken sandwich and an eggplant dip as starter. Both of them were phenomenal dishes. I ate and cleaned and scraped the bottom of the plates to savor those rich flavors one more time. Not only was my hunger more than satiated, but I was left satisfied, and elated of the foods I just consumed. The lady working, which I assume was the owner of the place, was kind and welcoming. The warm lights, wooden staircase, loft, and furniture, give the place a relaxing, charming, and quite atmosphere. This was my first time there, but it surely won't be the last.“

“I wandered by abnd was quickly greeted by server. She asked what i would like before I was seated... I went with the lule plate and a drink. I was served rather quick. I was rewarded with a fragrant plate. The server warned me the hot sauce is spicy. Of course this the first thing I tried haha. She was not lying it had a good kick to it. The meat was juicy flavorful, and bit pink? I was ok with that. The bread was delicious. The only thing I was disapointed was the plastic cutlery. 1/3 into the meal poink! the fork break cutting the lule. Luckily there was enough of the handle to continue. I finished up and paid inside and left a happy camper.“

Tucked inside the St. Vincent alley (which itself is something special for a later review), you'll find a deli market with a nice assortment of Armenian treats and friendly staff who actually helped me pick out my first two items: the house pastrami sandwich and my personal favorite, the Soujouk sandwich. Get this! The Soujouk sandwich is made with this fantastic Armenian sausage, cheese, and tomato on a perfectly toasted French roll that had the right amount of crunchy and fluffy bite. “Working from home and felt like something other than cooking. Wanting something fast, I yelped take-out near me and found this gem. I've been living here my whole life and have never been here. I decided to give them a try. Best choice: I got the Cold Cut on a roll with the macaroni salad on the side, It's a safe choice, right? I kept it simple to give it a try. Portion size is perfect. They're not greedy with their condiments since so many restaurants have been cutting corners on portion sizes. (It's understandable). The macaroni salad was perfect, along with the seasoning. There are only few sandwich places here in Boyle Heights now, unlike when you would go to your local convenience store, and 5 dollars would cover you for lunch. This place brought me a nostalgic moment as soon as I walked in, and it took me back to my local convenience store from high school.“

“Our final food choice in LA was Nate' n Als. This has a prime location on Beverly Hills right by Rodeo Drive. The decor was 1970's with a very brown vibe going on. This is a Jewish deli with a casual atmosphere second only in my experience to Katz deli in New York. The guy at the front desk taking take out orders was excellent and attentive. He kept us informed of the progress of our order and chased before we needed too. There were lots of choices on the menu but we focused on the Signature Sandwiches. These were served on double-baked bread, with pickle spears. Along with this you also get a side of either potato salad, macaroni salad or coleslaw.I went for "The Westwood". This was roasted turkey, coleslaw and Russian dressing. I made the mistake of choosing more coleslaw on the side. Forgetting that american coleslaw is not the creamy mayonnaise luxury which we are accustomed to in the UK.My husband had the "The Canon". The filling in this was corned beef, pastrami, swiss cheese, coleslaw and russian dressing. He opted to pay extra for the steak fries, which was a wiser choice than the coleslaw. We absolutely did not need two sandwiches, When we ate them later that evening we managed to finish one half each. They were massive! The Canon was more flavoursome than The Westwood. The coleslaw wasn't for us.“
