I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich for $16.95. When the bill was presented to me, the total was $20.90, which is a couple of dollars higher than what it should be with tax. There was an extra $2 charge. When I asked the server what the extra $2 charge was for, she said it was because the country style potatoes are not included with the sandwich. I no longer had the menu because I turned it in when I ordered and gave her the benefit of the doubt, but I felt like she was not correct. I paid the bill and tipped 20% anyways which came out to over $25. I decided to look up the menu just to confirm and it is clear as day that she lied and charged me an extra $2 for nothing because the menu clearly states that the country style potatoes are included with the Monte Cristo sandwich. The food was decent, but I can’t recommend going to a place where they are going to sneakily charge you an extra $2 for nothing.Responding to your response: Look at the picture attached of your menu description for The Monte Cristo and tell me where it indicates there is an extra $2 dollar charge for country style potatoes. It literally says verbatim "served with choice of home fries, country style potatoes, french fries, or fresh fruit." Saying it's "served with" indicates that it comes with these things, it does not say there is an extra $2 charge for them. When you change the menu to say "it is an extra $2 to add home fries, country style potatoes, french fries, or fresh fruit" then I will change the review.

Food was so good I had to go there two times in a row. Great portion size for big eater like me.Parking: Like about 9 parking spots on the restaurant premises. But there is street parking available.

The pancakes and French toast were excellent!! Hubby had the country fried steak special, which he thoroughly enjoyed and it was a big steak. I had the classic breakfast with a side of hashbrowns. I asked for soft scramble eggs and they were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Could have done without the hashbrowns they were just whatever. Overall, I highly recommend if you’re in the mood for great breakfast especially pancakes or French toast.

Some of the best diner-style breakfast food I've had in LA. The staff is always friendly and they are super welcoming to dogs on their patio. Prices are slightly higher than a traditional diner, but the quality of the food makes it feel worth it.

Wow the food here is top tier. You can tell the owner takes care of their restaurant and probably eats there too. Got the steak sandwich, a coffee, and the egg Benedict.

The food at Eat 'n Park is Great American (focus on breakfast) Fare - expertly cooked and handled with care . The service is the best - the staff are all warm and friendly. The food comes hot and fresh. Their motto states Best Omlettes in Bubank. Their hash browns are the best. My first choice for a quick and delish egg/bacon/browns/toast and coffee...bam!

First time trying this place. The scrambled eggs, hash browns and pancakes were good, your typical american breakfast. My sirloin steak on the other hand was tough, even though I asked for a medium finish. The service was great, prices are good for the portions. Parking available on their lot.

This place makes so a really delicious breakfast. I highly recommend the omelets, and the chili is very good. You can't go wrong coming here if you ate craving some good homestyle breakfast. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and everyone gives off such an amazing vibe.

"Best omelettes in town!" I don't know if that is true, but they're really good! I've tried their lox one, and now their vegetarian one. Delicious! Nice big portions. Friendly service that keeps the coffee coming. I dig the old school diner vibe. There is plenty of free parking. The only thing is that the restrooms are outside and on a cold, rainy day like today, that's not ideal. I'll still keep coming back to try their other omelets on the menu!
