Great value for the money. Clean, comfy beds. The room windows open for fresh air which is rare and a must for me. Safe location. Super friendly manager and staff. Perfect for the solo woman traveler.

I love this place! Historic! Please don't ever close this historic landmark! The public will fight to keep it going. :)

We had lots of flight issues and I had to call several times to change my reservation. Not only did Alfredo happily work with me, but saved us a bit too. I won't stay anywhere else in Burbank. Friendly helpful staff and a really nice hotel. Win, win! I'd give them 10 stars.

This hotel is a five minute walk from my daughter’s apartment and I really wanted it to be as great as the other reviews said it was but it was not. Perhaps my experience was a fluke. The positives: location. There is a great park across the street. The guy at the front desk was very nice. The negatives: the lampshade was broken, there was a hole kicked in the bathroom door, the cupboards had crumbs and even food was left in one of the cupboards, the hair dryer was off the wall and filthy. I had to wipe smudges off the door and door handle. The room smelled faintly of cigarettes- this may be from people smoking outside the rooms because there is a pretty significant gap under the door. The walls are pretty thin. You can hear televisions, music , walking from other rooms easily. The king bed sloped to the middle. Take note that the restaurant “Franks” is closed. Another member of our family stayed here a few days before and her room was okay, so maybe I just got a bad room. But the whole place seemed sketchy and dirty to me. If you read my other reviews you will see that I am an honest but not typically overly critical reviewer.

When they're open the food is great. Just be ready for a movie shoot or an extended vacation

An unpretentious, unfussy old-school diner that specializes in the classics. We came during a stay-at-home period, so did a to-go order, but we'd love to dine inside sometime for the full experience. My husband's chicken fried steak with gravy, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and toast was good. My pancakes were fluffy, but I was confused because the photos of the menu on yelp said they came with strawberries and whipped cream, but mine did not. It could be that the menu photos were outdated - and I just added my own toppings at home (they did provide butter and syrup). They forgot to bring our coffees out with our order, so we had to go back and remind them. Covid: We placed our order at the door (there is a table blocking the entrance) and a staff member wearing a mask delivered it to our car. Everything was packaged carefully and survived the short drive home. Parking: there is a small free parking lot for picking up your order. TLDR: It's satisfying and what you'd expect from a diner. Double check that you got your entire order before you drive away.

We were in town for a funeral at Mt. Sinai. This is a great hotel. Friendly staff. It's close to everything we needed to do. Unit was very clean. It looks like it was recently remodeled. Very nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Microwave & mini fridge in room. And it was very nice to have a restaurant on the premises as well. We will definitely stay here again.

We went to Frank’s Restaurant because of its appearance in the movie Larry Crowne, starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts (after having spent the night at the Safari Inn, also a popular Burbank filming location, think Coach Carter, Apollo 13 and True Romance, a couple of blocks down W Olive Blvd). To our surprise, Frank’s has seen a lot of filming in recent years, including the series Scorpion, CSI, Parks and Recreation and much more, so it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re a movie or series fan.

This is a great breakfast or lunch spot! My first time here and the coffee is amazing. I'm doing my best to follow a vegan diet so I ordered hash browns with bell peppers, onions, and jalapeño. It was AMAZING!!! I also like my coffee black with no sugar and even that was great. This place has good vegan options. I'm sure the rest of the menu is good as well. Staff is very friendly.
