Listen. I've been going here a long time. You could call me a fan boy. None of that matters, though. Are you a nerd? Everything about this place is nerdy, in the truest sense of the word. Enjoy eats made by a chef who is nerdy about food. Drink cocktails and beer curated by people who are nerdy about alcohol. Do you like board games and e-sports? Are you sick of pop culture savvy places wearing "nerdiness" as a costume or prop without understanding what makes us nerds tick? Come to Guildhall. These are your people. This is home.

Had a community event where we celebrate the holidays with a gift exchange, crafting, and collected food for a local pantry at this location. They were not only accommodating but had such a lovely atmosphere and wonderful service not to mention the food and drink were absolutely delicious.Vegetarian options: They had lots of vegetarian and vegan options and you could substitute something’s for veggie optionsDietary restrictions: They have gluten free, vegan, vegetarian options and can make substitutes to the food.Wheelchair accessibility: The location is on the first floor with no steps, easily accessible with a wheelchair, you may have trouble when it’s packed but there’s no physical barriers.

Such an adorable fun bar. Workers were friendly, outdoor and indoor seating. Food is decent.

Worth the try: tomato soupTip: Come early! This place gets busy, especially on weekends, and it can be difficult to grab a table indoors.Bonus tip: Don't skip out on the food! You wouldn't expect a place like this to have good food but everything we had was actually great! Probably some of the best bar food I've had, affordable too.Tomato Soup: creamy, flavorful tomato soup served with 2 pieces toasted cheesy garlic bread. Hits the spot on a cold day.Smash Burger: burger with two beef patties, two slices of american cheese, mixed greens, onions, pickles, smash sauce, on a brioche bun. Simple and delicious.Sweet Potato Tater Tots: crispy tots with lemon zest and parsley, served with harissa aioli sauce. Yum!!PARKING: Limited parking, you may have to find street parking in a nearby neighborhood.SERVICE: Bartenders and servers are super friendly and are quick to clear and clean your table.ATMOSPHERE: Lively spot, ample indoor and outdoor seating but does get busy since people tend to hang around and play games. They put livestreams on the TV and there's a huge wall of board games available for the public to play. People even bring their own games to play here!My partner lives nearby and we drive by this place ALL the time. Whenever we see it, there are ALWAYS tons of people! We were looking for something chill to do on a Friday night and finally decided to give this place a try. We walked over around 7pm and all of the indoor tables were already taken, but we got lucky with a group who was just leaving. We ordered some food and drinks which came out quickly. By 8-9pm, the place was packed and the bar line grew long. We played a few games from the wall like Uno and Bananagrams. Would love to come back and try out some of the other games. Highly recommend checking this spot out for a chill night out with friends. Great way to try new board games as well!

Cool spot to have drinks and nerd out with friends. Came here after Black Friday shopping for some drinks and played board games. There was a party of 10 next to our group of 6 that kept triggering my Apple Watch noise notification. Not sure what game there were playing, but it sure got quiet after they left. Our party played Sequence and Uno. Clever drink names and very satisfying prices.

Some of the friendliest staff you'll ever meet and the other people there have always been great. The food is way better than you'd expect from a place where it's kind of advertised as it's 3rd priority (board games and drinks being top 2). They always have some fun new cocktail specials available. They have a massive selection of games to play. I have probably played 20 different ones at this point and only one of them was missing any sort of pieces (and still was playable). Which seems impossible when you combine a bunch of people + food and drink. They have TVs set up to different video games, this place knows what it wants to be. They have a patio out back so the space can hold a lot more people than it looks like it can. Great bar

I've been to board game halls in the past, but GuildHall really nails the line between board games and bar - it's the best of both worlds. They have a strong variety of games to play - we came with a group of five and had no problems finding many good games to pick from. I was super surprised, though, by how good their food and drink were. At all the prior game halls I'd been to in the past, food was just subpar. But they really deliver here. Garlic fries were packed with flavor with enough topping for all the fries. Toasted Baguette was crispy with delicious butter. Smoked brisket Mac and cheese was INCREDIBLE - super cheesy and rich with tender pieces of brisket. Full bar with some creative in-house cocktails. Mind Flayer and Phoenix Down were two of our winners. We came right at opening on a Saturday and got a table right away. But within an hour or so, it really started filling up, and the place was PACKED. So keep that in mind if you're planning on coming.Parking can be a bit difficult. They don't have a designated lot, and we grabbed street parking nearby.A great place to go for a fun night out with friends.

Possbily one of the coolest pubs I've been to in a very long time. Hidden in Burbank lies the GuildHall, a neat little pub right next to a KFC. Small but mighty as they have.a few tables out in the front but also an outdoor patio in the back. This pub has so many board games that are available and television screens around the restaurant allowing you to watch Twitch players play. I overall loved the vibe of this place and it was definitely a spot to bring your friends to play games but also socialize. My friend invited me for his birthday and I got a chance to try their burger and fries --which really hit the spot. The burger was absolutely delicious. Possibly one of the best burgers i've had in a long time and the fries were to my liking. We played Blockbuster, one of the games they provided and exploding kittens. The environment was so chill and there was no pressure to leave from the restaurant. There were two birthday groups indoors and out so I recommend coming early to snag a table. It's a popular spot and I can see why.Plenty of street parking across the street and overall id recommend the place to anyone who loves board games!

It was my first time at GuildHall for a birthday . When calling to check in on the big party policy, they advised us to arrive early in order to hold enough tables for 12 people. So arriving as soon as they opened gave us the freedom to hold tables as we want. The selection of games is pretty solid, for big groups and small. Food and drinks are really good. You'd think it's typical bar food, but it's definitely better! The drinks are strong and delicious, which I appreciate. Overall, service is fine. They were able to accommodate holding a birthday cake for us until the party is ready, but when it came time to serve the cake - I was disappointed by the service. They were not able to provide us plates or forks because "12 is too many and they don't have enough", which I find odd. After I explained that I have no choice and it's too late for me to go buy disposables, they found tiny disposable plates and gave me 6 forks for 12 people to share. I'm glad we worked it out, but ultimately disappointed at the situation. They never told us to bring our own serving accessories, they didn't mention it when we gave them the cake upon arriving early, and gave attitude for us not knowing. I'm not the first or last person to be hosting a birthday with cake, they really could have the means to accommodate people with plates and forks.

Burbank very much caters to the nerd community and I am here for it! This is a chill, relaxed, non-pretentious place with delicious food and a full wall of almost every game you can think of. The house-cut Kennebec chips are phenomenal, and they offer 2 dipping sauces too. We ordered more chips just to keep snacking as we played games. I really liked the brisket mac and cheese I ordered. The cocktail list with geeky, fun drink names is robust, and the drinks are good.I wish they had more wine and beer selections. The biggest bummer of this place is that a good number of the games are in bad shape, and I wish they would repair or replace the ones that are heavily used. It took us checking out at least 6 games before we found a playable one. Instructions are shredded and impossible to read, cards are sticky and torn. Some of the pieces were so dirty that we couldn't play them while also eating.
