Absolutely delicious coffee roasted right down the street and wonderful food made on site each morning. It smells wonderful before even walking in. I got the mushroom sandwich and it was such a great touch to have the arugula dressed with a vinaigrette... I'll be trying this upgrade when I make a sandwich next time! I also got their in house dirty chai which was fantastic and a cold brew. 10's across the board. Super kind people, and comfortable environment with cute bistro tables outside too! Dog bowl for water outside as well :)

I came here last week for some French pastries. It’s such a cute little store. The staff (Alecia and Lola) are super friendly and passionate about what they do. They JUST made my day. :)They have lots of fresh pastries baked in house. I got a few things + dark roast drip coffee:Kouign Amann ClassicCanele (yummm, bigger than the ones we had in France and sweeter, I think there’s custard on the inside?)Chougettes (tasty savory bites!)Escargot a La canelleBaguette +french butter (although not baked in-house, it tastes amazing!)They also have lots of crepes and sandwiches on the menu. Will definitely try them out in the future. Will be back! Support local small business and of course French bakery!!

I was so excited to try this place. Unfortunately, I won’t be back. There’s too much competition in the LA area to churn out subpar disappointing food. 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese that didn’t span the baguette, the fewest amount of pickles they could add to say they added pickles, and no butter. If you’ve been to Paris (France, Texas or Kentucky) and ate food, don’t come here. It will be a disappointment.

This place is so good. There are many elements which come together to make it a 5 star. The food is fantastic, the service is great and they have incredible coffee. I love sitting outside and enjoying an almond pastry and latte. A real little moment of zen in my week. It truly is a special place.Parking: There is always plentiful and easy street parking in front.

Incredible pastries and coffee. I recommend the Mini Kouign Amman! Absolutely my favorite treat to go there. Nothing is cheap but you’re going to get what you pay for. Smells Delicious as soon as you walk in, great quality coffee too. If I was rich, I’d come here every day.

Allez Les Bleus!!! Alsace at its finest!!! A piece of France right here in LA. Compliments to the chef for the artistic and esthetic look to the place! The food is to die for!

An absolutely lovely French bakery. Wonderful baked goods and sandwiches. The true delight for me was the Kouign-amann. Crispy and soft. Light and flakey. Perfect in all ways.

Phenomenal sandwiches and baked goods. I would say compared to other French bakeries in LA this is among the best. Just as a heads up there is no seating so it's all to go but that's worth it for the great bite. Highly recommend trying it!

C'est delicieux! The most amazing tarte I've ever eaten and the chocolate cake is pure fudgy goodness. So French that I felt compelled to post my photos in Noir fashion. But I needed to post the dessert in salivating color. It was so hard to choose a single dessert because they all looked so delectable. I originally came in for a sandwich but instead left with the most exquisite desserts. I wish they had some sidewalk cafe style seating, but since they didn't, I was able to walk to the end of the block and sit on a grassy curb with a large shade tree overhead. I live on the other side of the hill, but these desserts have me interested in taking a destination drive. The girl behind the counter was perky and helpful when trying to decide what to choose. Go! Eat! Yum!

Love the mom and pop shop ambiance. Super friendly and I wouldn't be surprised if they have returning frequent customers. Le Parisien is a great sandwich, even for someone who isn't a huge fan of pickles. The only warning I'd give is that the bread can be tough on your teeth if your teeth are sensitive. The other pastries look so good as well. Prices are $$.

Went in for late lunch on a Friday afternoon as I was staying in a nearby hotel on a leisure trip. I was interested in trying their sandwiches and crêpes since I’m French! They have a small standing only counter and you can eat in if it’s just you and a friend. I got serviced by Leo, a fluent French speaking student, and our conversation “en français” sure made the place feel more typical for the customers who came in. Some even tried their French too!I was not disappointed, the Parisien sandwich is made with a fresh French crusty artisan baguette, excellent ham - do you know how hard it is to find decent country ham without added sugar or other “enhancers”? - and just the right amount of Gruyère cheese. To top it all, it came with small French cornichons (the Brits call it gherkins) and butter… yes, butter! Not mayonnaise or mustard, actual butter!Very good high-quality fresh ingredients well worth the $11 for the 1/2 sandwich (1/2 baguette). It’s plenty enough for one person especially if you go for a sweet crêpe after that which I did. I got a simple strawberry crêpe sprinkled with sugar and it was delicious. Everything fresh! For take out, I got 5 chouquettes for $2.60, a very reasonable price, and a “fondant au chocolat” cake for dessert tonight. I have no doubt it will be the real thing! They’re selling some additional French goods, I bought a tiny and cute jar of Bonne Maman jelly and a nougat de Montélimar. They have French cookies (BN among others) and French sauces.Too bad they’re not open on weekends and for dinner, as a “crêperie” they would make a killing! It’s a small venue indeed and a family owned one.Next time my family goes to Universal Studios, I know where I’ll go for lunch… I’ll try to get in early as they run out of pastries quick. They’re open weekdays and close at 4pm.
