On a Saturday night, it was refreshing to be able to pop into a restaurant without a reservation or a long wait. The restaurant seemed busy with people sitting inside and outside but there were still multiple tables to choose from indoors. I really enjoyed my drunked sea pasta which had a good amount of seafood and the pasta was cooked perfectly. While the service was a bit slow, I wasn't in a rush and prefer quality cooked food over speed. Someone at the table did comment that the bread on the table was cold and not that tasty though, so that was a bit of a letdown. Parking is on the street, but I was able to find parking just around the corner.

Sexy, Italian cafe close to the WB campus. Many studio executives and employees eat here due to walk ability from the studios.Never disappoints. My family has frequented this restaurant for years, the food is delicious with daily specials and hand made pasta. Our sweet family member who is 12 asked is this a "Sexy Cafe ?" and yes indeed it is! Dining outside Al Fresco! Yummy dishes and wonderful, attentive staff!

The food and service are good at this restaurant. But after a recent experience, going with a large group of people, I would not recommend having a party here or any type of event more than six or seven people. We had about 25 people and they would only give us one check. At one point they mentioned that they would accept four credit cards to pay the bill, but they would still just give us one bill, and then we would have to go in and figure out what orders went on each, credit card! Ridiculous! It was a nightmare. One person ended up, putting everything on their card and then on our way out we stopped in to pay that person for the things that we ordered. This took an hour. No matter how we worked it out, we just kept coming up short. So several of us contributed even more than the total of our orders. You would think that a restaurant would welcome a party that large, and make it easy to spend money and get paid but no. It was a freaking nightmare. it's because of this massive awkward inconvenience that we were all put through, I give this place three stars.

I enjoy everything I've had here. Just fresh delicious food. I really enjoy the chicken Marsala. The roasted potato are perfection. The bursts toast is dreamy. Good service, nice location, overall always happy. The cheesecake and tiramisu are also delish.

Awful experience most open tables were dirty. The service was extremely slow waited 30 minutes and they brought me the wrong order. I the attitude of the staff was nasty. I request a refund and accept my waste time.

I visited on Sunday with a party of 11 after Warner bros tour. I was not impressed. The server was cordial and fast. My wife found the lasagna was good although not the best she has tested. My daughter did not like the cheese pizza as she says it has no flavor. I tried the lamb chops with potatoes and also found the seasoning too timid. The meat was medium rare as requested, but the potatoes were cold and the cranberry sauce had little flavor (maybe from a can?). None of my guests were delighted and the prices are steep. Very unlikely I will go back.

The food is amazing from the appetizer to the main course and finish it off with their homemade deserts. The pasta is made from scratch. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing. The service is amazing with the best staff in my opinion.

This was our first visit to Novo as we were just looking for somewhere close to the Zoo, and it turned out to be a great find. The food was great, though I like our Carbonara recipe better. They offer gluten free pasta and pizza crust (curst as it says on the menu)?, and plenty of options. We had an issue of broken shell in the clams, but the staff dealt with it well. Overall the staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. If we are in the area we would definitely go back.

My cousin tested me to Novo Cafe last night. The ambiance was nice, not pretentious like one of the Italian places nearby. We took a table outside and enjoyed a quiet cool evening with the hum of Riverside Drive in the background. It was comfortably busy, where you know that people enjoy eating. The tables around us had families with the best behaved babies and children. We shared the burrata toast. I had the bolognese and she the carbonara. Both dishes were tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The portions were big enough that I will enjoy the l The one negative was the smell of old plumbing, even though the restroom looked clean - there was a noticeable odor. I know I would not have enjoyed eating inside.

This place is wonderful. The food is one of the best I've had. The aesthetics & atmosphere of this place are awesome. Very calming Italy vibes. The deserts & coffee are excellent!! I wish it was closer to my house, bigger parking & a better outdoor area but they are wonderful. The staff is very kind and fun to talk to, the menu for both food & bakery is extensive & delicious. Some plates better than others I will admit & It would receive a 5 star if not for the roaming flies that may wonder in to the outdoor area. The parking is small and so is the interior but if you get inside the restaurant it is a hidden gem in this city.
