“The Best Hot Chicken in SoCal... Chicken sandwiches are the best here, along with all of their sides. The staff is extremely friendly and super energetic. They need to open a spot in the Inland Empire please! 3 hour wait line here can be worth it.“
“I will definitely come back, the vibe was on point, my amazing waitress "Pope" was the best. Our food came out piping hot with flavor! The service was quick and above standards. Thanks for the amazing experience... I look forward to supporting Gritz and Waffles again soon. Continued Blessings!“
“Such a cute little wine bar in the heart of DTLA! My friend and I decided to catch up over early dinner here. We ordered the coldbrew martini and the non-alcoholic prosecco. We also shared the caesar salad, meatballs, piquillo peppers, and the margherita flatbread. Everything was delicious and tasty. We were pleased with everything we ordered. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Our service was efficient. There is no free parking available, but we paid to park in a lot nearby.“
“Many who dine out know about the chicken sandwich craze which spread across the nation several years ago. From gourmet style to fast-food many eateries jumped in to offer their take. Le Coupe is no sleeper and from what I experienced ranks in the top of fried chicken with a twist. Many rave about Memphis style chicken and they should but Le Coupe uses its Louisiana Cajun heritage to make it a "must stop." Their sandwich is exceptional. If you're looking for basic fried chicken, this is NOT YOUR SPOT. Instead you will be treated to fried chicken drenched in a tasty hot, honey style sauce that is the perfect complement. The quality of the sandwich shines as while the chicken is superbly prepared, the bun, the slaw, the pickles take it to a new level. Some might raise an eyebrow over the $15 cost but again, this a'int fast food as you get what you pay for. Moving on, the rib of corn is so basic it's hilarious to mention. But, boy have they hit it out of the park with this appetizer. Ribs of corn are drenched in a mayonnaise chili sauce that makes it a very addictive dish. For $11, worth the experience. The potato salad (made with red potatoes) is fresh made (like the other items), very tasty and a nice presentation by being topped off with fresh chives. The drinks are another hit. Everything is freshly made. The lemonade was tasty and you could taste the quality. Again, at $6, you get what you pay for. LeCoupe is a tiny venue but cozy enough for several chairs, as well as a few outside. Everything is made from scratch but your order comes at a quick pace. Western and Melrose is a busy intersection, so the parking on Western can be tight so you will need some patience or street-smarts. Le Coupe has earned my business so if you're having the taste for some uniquely fried chicken (thighs or tenders) you can't go wrong with them. Price points may appear high but worth it based on the quality your receive.“
“The fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. The mild chicken is really spicy but just the right amount for me, not overly intense. It’s nice and crunchy. It’s even great cold. The fries are bomb too. What I also like is that it’s exactly the same quality every time, there is no variance. Wish I had found this place years ago.“
“The atmosphere or ambiance is excellent. It's a small community restaurant with excellent food. The only reason for the 4 is it was a bit cold inside.Vegetarian options: Almost all menu it's have a vegan and or vegetarian option.Parking: Street parking“
“This is literally the best bar in LA!! If you’ve ever watched Cheers, Crawford’s is where you go and every body knows your name. The best food, THE BEST SERVICE ❤️❤️, the best pool play in town hands down. Glad there’s no alcohol here so I can stay longer!!“
“Love love love Cajun/Creole food! I was more than pleasantly surprised to find this gem in my neck of the woods, and am happy to report that Mardi Gras Tuesday will be my go-to Cajun/Creole joint for the foreseeable future. Mind you, I'm no expert on the cuisine, but I've been a fan for a long time and can happily endorse the Étouffée (crawfish), the Jambalaya, the Mac and Cheese, hushpuppies, and the friendly service at Mardi Gras Tuesday. *Though the cornbread didn't necessarily wow me, all and all, it was a great meal for the portions, price and quality. And considering they got slammed as soon as we walked in (around the start of the Super Bowl), the service was quick and we were in and out of there with bellies full of comfort food within an hour. Can't wait to go back!“
“I like the food here, but the attitude of the main guy behind the counter? I don’t understand- Bruh…you are running a restaurant, and while food is important there is a reason why every food review platform in the universe has a rating category entitled service. If you can’t be the least bit courteous than take park your grumpy self in the back where customers don’t have to worry about offending you by placing an order and providing you with their credit card.“
“Excellent, spicy fried chicken. Easily the best I’ve ever had, and the pieces were large. I also had the fried okra, which was perfectly crisp. The baked beans were just the right amount of sweetness with a little bit of spice.Parking is extremely limited. Google maps shows a larger parking lot, but most of it is restricted to the residents of the building next door. You may need to park on the street and walk if you come during the busy time. Also, the restaurant is on the small side, so be prepared for a wait if they are busy.“
“First off, the prices are pretty reasonable for the area. In the Arts District where you can expect your coffee to be $7, $9ish for a full cocktail is not bad! I've enjoyed everything here, the fried chicken in particular was well-seasoned. The only thing I thought was meh was the fried broccolini, the batter was a little too heavy for me so I didn't finish it.You seat yourself and can either order using the QR code at your table or try to flag someone down, but mobile order seems faster. There is also self-serve water. My only suggestion is that sometimes it can get quite sunny so would be nice to have some kind of shades when the sun is getting low and get in your eyes.Update: sounds like the shade issue has been resolved since I've last gone! Thanks Théron!“
“Food was pretty good and well seasoned. Chick was awesome, brisket was good but maybe a little thin, links were good, pork ribs were maybe on the dryer side then use to but still good. Cornbread was on point, and cold Mac taste a little store bought.“
“Wonderful experience from entering the double doors. Greeted with a warm smile at the door and short waiting time to be seated. Waitress came out right away, was very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and market price items on the menu. Panna waters were provided with and the food was stupendously delicious with unique ingredients and flavors that you have to savor. Wonderfully lite atmosphere with a modern farmhouse architectural ambiance. Excellent menu options healthy choice foods like vegan options were available along with rich culinary creations. Wonderful experience would definitely recommend and looking for to my return.“

“This was our first time visiting this food place and we were wow’d by how much of a phenomenal service in which we received. The owner is very hands on, very personable, and made sure everyone was happily satisfied upon leaving! We were even greeted with welcome drinks as first time customers. I would definitely recommend to others!“
“We were lucky enough to have them cater us (the actors) in between our 2 day performance. Michael & Jessica are not only great cooks, while serving you they have a way of making you feel like family and everyone is gathering around at the "family cookout!" The fries were season so well and the chicken was juicy!“
“I hadn't been to Dinahs in a while but decided to grab dinner from here the other night. It just happened to be their 57th anniversary - which they were celebrating by giving away free breakfast, which I didn't even know the served there. Congratulations to them! But I digress.... the family dinner I ordered was so good. Comes with 10 pcs chicken, 2 sides, and rolls. All of it was fresh, hot, and tasty. Best fried chicken around perfect coating. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I took it to go so I can't say much about the atmosphere. The lobby looks cool.. a little old fashioned, but I expect that from an almost 60 year old place...vintage-y . Just go. It's a staple for fried chicken, which i dont have all the , also I Don't live with regrets and this is worth it!“
“It was a fun experience.Miles, our server, made the experience very good.Ordered steamed shrimp and kids chicken straps meal.Kids meal came out on a fun paper boat and drink came out in souvenir cup that you can take home.Beer also included a souvenir glass.Fun place to eat when you visit Universal Studios.“
“Mache is amazing server! He took care of us! He made we understood what was the best way to eat at The Drunken Crab!!The foooood was AMAZING!!!!!! My god. Raw oyster, the best! The mussels, shrimp, sauce delicious!!!!! 3 sauce mix - on point! And we liked the Bloody Mary Saki! And the music was hitting the spot.“
“Comparing this one to the one on Pico/Crenshaw, parking is much much easier and closer to the freeway. The chicken indeed seemed a ted less spicy hot but all the favors are there. (Went to Crenshaw 2 days later and clearly able to compare) As usual, ordered the biggest 20 piece dinning in and it was hot and juicy, especially the breast. Busy on the chicken left the fries cold but still nothing left to take home. The chicken was fresh from the frier as one was bubbling on the table. Teared up one of the breast and juice immediately drip onto the plate. I wore eating clothes every time I go to GUS to refrain from having ruined clothes to regret later. They gave me forks every time but I had never used them. Go wash hands and get dirty!“
