I’ve had a great experience here every time I’ve visited. Amazing food, chill vibes, generally good prices. I’m quite stuck on the Armenian cold brew they have as well. Also a decent place to have wine with a friend if you’re into that sort of thing. The lentil soup & everything on the menu is so fresh & tasty!

Portions are big and has tons of flavors. We came to eat at 11am and we were the only table. Do not be fooled because they are busy! Open space and lots of tables. Be patient. The food is amazing!

For tourists: we went on a Monday around lunch time and the place was empty. Don’t be fooled. It looks like they’re not busy but they are. Be patient. The food is bomb! Lamb was cooked to perfection. The yogurt needs to be bottled and sold everywhere. We will def comeback. ?

Was at Costco shopping and wanted some good Mediterranean food. Found this small hole in the wall. Food is delicious and has great flavor. The service was excellent and fast. Never had seen this place before and it's a bit hard to spot but if you decide to come you will be satisfied! forgot to take a pic of the food but it's was delicious, one bad note is all the styrofoam they use to serve everything. But other than that it was GREAT!

My favorite place for middle eastern/Mediterranean food. Family owned and the nicest people. Prices are great too and in a quiet area of Burbank. Try the homemade baklava, it's the best! Also I love the regular and jalapeño hummus.

During a recent visit to the Glendale area I found myself staying overnight near the Burbank Airport in order to catch a flight home the next morning. Never been in that area before and didn't have a clue where to eat. From an Apple Maps search up pops the Tonir Cafe. It was in walking distance to the hotel and the description from the website sounded good, so off I went. What a find. I ordered the most wonderful pork chop with rice, roasted pepper, roasted tomato, and a very large piece of pita bread. The chop was cooked to perfection and the sides were simply delicious. I give this place and the folks that run it high marks. A very friendly family run business. Next time I return, I'll make sure to stop by again.

Disappointed to find it closed early today after driving out of my way to get there.

I called and placed an order for their Tonir plate which serves 5 to 7 people on Wednesday and before I tell you how amazing the food, the generosity, the service and the staff were let me tell you they use quality meats because I warmed up the leftovers today And they still tasted amazing. Must try this place. Best Armenian kebab in Burbank. Hands down. Ask for Margaret. She's so sweet. She gave me a free appetizer for my birthday then surprised me by not taking money for the entire order. A giving business is a growing business. Always give to grow. Be generous with your staff, your budget and your customers and you'll never stop growing. Keep serving Armenian hospitality like no other. Thank you.

I was starving while heading home and really craving pork. After a quick google search I found this gem! I placed an online order at 6:30 (and they close at 7) which even I felt bad to do since I also work in customer service. But their friendly and efficient service was greatly appreciated and the food was great! I highly recommend this place and thank you Tonir cafe for a wonderful evening experience! Also, thank you for offering pork dishes! lol most places seldom offer it. It was very flavorful and highly recommend the ribs!

Don't judge a restaurant by its cover! The meat here is so juicy and flavorful. We got the chicken and beef lule as well as the steak. So good! Eggplant caviar is delicious! The hummus was meh but I'm coming again to try everything else. Highly satisfied today!

This hidden gem has a delicious variety of very fresh food! And while everything is reasonably priced, the lunch specials are exceptional! The quality of the food is quite high -- I'm very picky about my salads, and Tonir has very fresh, flavorful ones. The service is fast, and did I mention the food is excellent? It is also a quiet place for lunch; unlike some restaurants, they don't blast you with music you didn't ask for at a volume you don't want. You actually get to enjoy your company and your lunch. This is a low-profile, unassuming place that may 'slip under the radar' for the foodies in the area, but it's absolutely a treat.
