We came here on a weekend morning and beat the rush, sort of. We called to place our order around 8:30 am but they were already out of everything bagels. However when we got there it was just before a rush of people. They did have whole wheat everything, which I tried, and it was fine. The bagel tasted a little more like bread with spices on the them. I loved that this place seems to be family owned and run, but I have to give feedback on my burrito. They have a burrito option on the menu which has ham in it. I asked to substitute the ham w/ chorizo and I figured since it's swapping 1 meat for another, there would be no charge. But, I was charged $5 more. Bagel are the best in town, we have tried many many others and Bay Area Bagels has the tastiest Bagels in San Mateo/Burlingame area. We try to avoid them because their prices are a little too pricey, however we always end up coming back when we want the Best Breakfast Bagel we ever had!!!!!
