This place and this Yelp page is a little misleading, after checking it out on Yelp my husband and I decided to stop by for dinner thinking all the pictures you see on Yelp here (sushi rolls, poke, korean food etc.) would all be available but instead its a super limited menu with maybe a handful of korean dishes. This initial shock is what's bring their review down to a 3 star for me, I think they could do a better job with their Yelp page to be accurate and not mislead customers. However after this initial shock and finding something else I wanted to order I found the food pretty decent. I ordered the bibimbap - I wish there was a non-stone pot option as that's my preference but the stone one wasn't bad. My husband had a standard soon-tofu type soup. They supplied a fair amount of side dishes for us to enjoy which was nice but expected as most korean restaurants do this. I think it's due to Covid but they have you order at the table with a QR code which we didn't mind. They also have you fetch your own water/utensils at the middle of the restaurant. I found the water/utensil fetching a big strange as it wasn't made clear to us.. I only found out because I saw other groups get up and walk to the middle, so maybe some clearer instructions would be helpful. Parking was plentiful as they have a large lot. The tables are nice and spacious and they seem to work hard to ensure guests aren't seated too close to each other unless there are no other options which I really appreciated amidst the pandemic.

Good tofu soup, friendly workers and good service. The servings are huge and worth the price. Tofu soup wasn't watery

This is sort of like a fast-casual restaurant. You have to scan a QR code for a digital menu, and you have to order and pre-pay on your phone, seated from your table. You also self-serve for your water and tea. But I feel funny tipping 20% for basically no table service. There's nothing wrong with this at all, just a little unexpected. I ordered a Tofu Soup (needed something hot and hearty). It was good, and the banchans were also very good. About what I expected for a good meal.

Decent Korean food but I have much better ones. This is not the traditional kind of Korean restaurants which you are served from the first step coming in to the restaurant. You are on your own to get your tea/water, utensils and other condiments. Food is OK, not impressive and not much choice either. It is on the pricey side with "no" service.

I wish I could give negative 5 stars to this restaurant. Horrible place to eat. First of, when you walk in, they give you instructions to either order with the guy at the front desk or use the QR code to order from the very limited menu they have. From the water, the utensils and anything u need is self serve. They have employees but they are not very friendly and speak very little English. They don't offer appetizers or sides. There's a dish that comes with egg rolls, when we attempted to order a side the declined our request even tho we said we would pay full price for the dish. The won't sell you a side of anything in the menu period! We asked for a plate because the clay pot was too hot and too small to mix it with the rice, they told us that they didn't have big plates, they brought us tiny plates. We showed dissatisfaction, all of the sudden they found a big plate. I was waiting for them to tell me that I needed to go to the kitchen to go find one myself. Every time we try to get something, they said it was self serve. Food quality, very poor! Never going back there!

Got takeout from here a couple days ago. The lady was very helpful and happy to see me. The restaurant is very spacious and clean, and lots of parking. so would be good for big groups. The Bonchon is awesome, I love the tofu skin! Our favorite was the hot stone bibimbap and the galbi beef. Delicious!

Seems like this place changed their name recently, but I visited here when it was called I <3 sushi and tofu. I ordered the dumpling tofu soup, two item bento with chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura, and three rolls: spider roll, california roll, and red dragon roll. We ordered through the phone for pick up. Their parking lot is pretty big and we also noticed they had some tables set up outside right next to the parking lot. Inside is pretty big with a lot of tables. I wasn't sure if they were not doing indoor dining, but it seemed empty in the restaurant. We brought the food home. I was a bit disappointed in the portions of the food. The rolls seemed really small and the amount of chicken teriyaki was quite lacking. The food was pretty standard, nothing spectacular. I am not sure if things have changed since they have changed their name/brand. It seems they do not serve sushi anymore so I hope their korean food is better than what we had before.

Went here with a friend a few days ago. Instead I your typical all you can eat Korean BBQ here they specialize is certain foods and come with bon Chon. I ordered the spicy sundubu with seafood. It was delicious. Lots of flavor. All the bon chon is good. It's unlimited. It's only 4 selections they give you. The miso soup and the Korean salad they also serve is tasteful as well. Korean food is amazing if you've never had it. This place is warm and cozy. Next my friend ordered the spicy pork bulgogi and we hated the kalbi. She really enjoyed her pork and we both love the kalbi! Everything marinated to perfection and cooked perfectly. They have a self serve water and tea station. Check out this place, you will enjoy.

This place is located next to an abandoned closed old movie theater it looks like, so plenty of parking. There was plenty of space and room. The only other people there was a large group of Koreans and another group of Koreans so you know the food must be good when Koreans are coming here. We all know what our own kind of food should taste like- so that was a good sign! It was authentic Korean food and taste. I did deduct one star because I think the ban chan can have a better selection. The just made homemade KimChee was great. They had little daikon radish slices and a little bowl of Japchae ( I think they didn't have a JapChae entree which I would suggest they add on to their menu). Their fish cakes were just ok- that is usually our favorite banchan and I had much better ( this one was too thin and a bit dry and rubbery kind). The beef bulgogi and pork bulgogi were excellent and authentic. The bimbop was very good too. The tofu army bean type of soup had Ramen that soaked up all the soup and took over the soup, so next time I would order a tofu and vegetable soup without the Ramen. There is a self serve lemon water and barley tea station. Note that anyone watching their carbs even though it is a tea, barley tea had a whopping 22 carbs! Wow! So only took a sip which was very soothing. Overall, food was pretty good. Only thing is I would expand the ban Chan a bit and have more choices on the menu which is kind of limited. Kalbi was 27.00 which was a pretty high price point imho so we didn't get that one this time.

Tastes good, but my bulgogi is mostly onions. Where's the meat? Only bul, no gogi.

TLDR: Approachable, just okay Korean food. 8/28/21 - Saturday 7:00, no wait. Scoring Weight: 90% Food, 10% Other Worth a visit? Sure. Limited Korean food in the bay. Worth the price? Yes, relatively large portions. Worth the wait? No wait Saturday @7:00. Much busier at ~8:00 Menu is a little limited. Stick to the Korean options. Then bento-like/Japanese food was just okay. Food: (4/5) Pork Soondubu: Good. Medium spicy level was very mild. Lots of tofu. Okay amount of pork. Not too fatty/rich. Good kimchi base-flavor. Well executed. All of their tofu soups seem solid. Get. (2.5/5) Hot-Stone Kimchi Fried Rice: Very average. A little oily. Really strong color, but flavor did not match. Crispy hot-stone bits were good. Minimal amounts of various cubed meats. Couldn't carry as a main dish. Slightly better than plain white rice. (2.5/5) Combo Dinner Box (Tonkotsu + Beef Bulgogi): Average Tonkotsu DROWNED in BBQ-like sauce. Very strange that they put all that sauce on for you. Ask for it on the side. Beef bulgogi was good, not great. Big salad as a filler. (2.5/5) Pork Bulgogi: Great color. Lacking flavor. Huge servings, but pork pieces were a little fatty. Very oily overall (even for pork bulgogi). The base-flavor was good, just needed more. (4/5) Misc. banchan: Everything was good. Kimchi, tofu skins, pickled peppers, rice noodles. Well executed. Miso soup was good. Other: * Easy parking. Large lot. * Self service water, utensil, plates. * Very large indoor area. Great for groups. Not an actual KBBQ place. No built-in stoves.

Food tasted pretty good here. It's big and spread out. You order via a QR code. You grab your own utensils and drinks. A bit on the expensive side for Korean food. Easy parking.

I'm a fan! Went last night after landing from a 6 hour flight. I was feeling a bit nauseous from the turbulence but nothing fights nausea like a delicious and comforting bowl of kimchi jiggae. It was SIZZZLING HOT when it got to my table. I loved the all the banchan -- esp the super ripe kimchi. It is a big spot and has ample parking. It might be my go-to spot after landing at SFO now!

The restaurant changed to having Korean food only in July 2021. Since then we have been here a few times and the Korean food is very good. We like that you can scan a QR code to place the order. For people that can scan the QR code they have waiter/waitress to assist. After you place your order they bring the items out to you. There is a self serve area for tea, ice water and serving ware. The management and staff are always amazing. Plenty of parking as always.
