Daniella was very sweet, she helped me and my friend pick the perfect drink for us. I had a great experience!!

The Assam was a little too sweet for my taste, but every drink I tried was really good.

The drink was well made and the staff is nice, but this store is really busy and seems to be short-staffed given their amount of customers.

Wonderful!! We love Teaspoon ❤️!We would however like to use our boba tumbler at the burlingame location to reduce waste. Hopefully that changes soon!!

Absolutely adore Teaspoon. The location in Hayward is better. The girl with the glasses around 3:30pm today (9/3/22) gave my partner and I horrible service. She was hostile taking our order and when we received our drinks. We had to repeatedly say “thanks” at the end for some kind of acknowledgement. You should know how to serve people with a positive attitude if you are working customer service jobs. Disgusting attitude and put us off Teaspoon’s location in Burlingame. Your stinky attitude was evident in our drinks too! Not tasty like we are used to.

Not only are the drinks amazing (try the taro lover) but the staff was awesome. Megan was who helped us, and it was a pleasure.

This teaspoon is better than the one in San Mateo. A group of very attentive people working here!

At my own risk, I like to try new things. I can already call myself a fan of boba tea. I have tried it in various places and evaluated not only the boba balls, but also the tea itself. Speaking of the first, it's important to me that the boba are felt with almost every sip and are pleasant to taste and chew. As for the second one, it's essential for me that the tea doesn't taste like chifir, because I don't drink it with sugar (every time, my boba tea with zero percent of sweetness). So, what came out in a teaspoon? After taking the first sip, I was generally disappointed. The tea turned out to be too strong, and the presence of grape juice wasn't felt at all (although I imagined that the sweetness of berries and green tea should go very well together). In addition, this was the first time the boba very rarely hit my straw. However, it's worth to mention that the boba itself saved the situation in a way (for the reasons described in the first paragraph). In summary, I can say that I'll probably go back to this place to try a matcha (which sometimes i like to drink) or a coconut and pineapple flavored drink (because lately I've been a little addicted to pina colada).

Teaspoon is one of my favourite boba chains in the area! It's a local chain, so the flavour profile is a bit more refreshing than the heartiness that you usually find in shops from Taiwan. Both are great, as it is mostly attuned to the different climate! I like the rotating fresh monthly flavours. They are always well-balanced, usually fruit-based and refreshing, and offers an element of surprise. If I'm feeling like something familiar, I usually go with the liquid gold with house cream. Unfortunately, the taro milk is a bit too thin and not hearty enough for me -- look for another shop to satisfy your craving. I also order 25% sweetness and if you get the flavored jelly, even 25% can be a little too sweet. They also carry coffee now but I haven't had enough to know if it's enough caffeine for me (I really do love my espresso). This particular location is ok! The staff can be really friendly, but the drinks are a little less flavourful for some reason -- it's definitely not my fav milk tea in Burlingame, but if you want something fruit-based, this will do just fine.

Agree with other comments, the drinks aren’t consistent, sometimes the golden brew is stronger and sometimes not. This time I particularly mentioned that I needed a stronger one, but no word of extra shots was offered at the counter.

Great experience! This boba-rista was super helpful with making sure I chose something I liked. Great service!

Went to this teaspoon for the brown sugar and house milk tea and the previous bad review on this place was spot on. The house milk tea was very water downed and barely tasted like anything and the brown sugar milk tea had a very weird bitter after taste. Drank maybe only halfway before I just threw it out as it made my tongue dry out. Avoid this location and instead go to the San Mateo teaspoon which is just 7mins away or go to boba guys.

They were just closing as we went in but they were nice enough to let us order. Got the Ube Latte for the first time. OMG, was sooo good!

Not very consistent with their other locations in the bay area. I order the Liquid Gold with Egg Pudding every time. My favorite drink! This location seemed to overcook their oolong. It tasted very different in tea quality. The egg pudding also wasn't as firm as it normally is.This location was pretty busy on a Monday evening and they only had two workers. They seemed very stressed.
