I really enjoyed my strawberry shortcake and my order was ready for pickup at the appointed time. My girlfriend thought the cake was a little 'dry'. I don't know that I agree with her opinion. The cream frosting was fresh and delicious as were the strawberries
This place is nestled between popular cafe/bakeries, but in terms of food, I liked this place better! And there's no line. SMOKED SALMON ON CROISSANT - so good!! Their croissant is buttery and soft, and with a generous amount of salmon neatly packed in together. I kind of wish there was a sauce on the side to go with it. Bestie had the turkey wrap. March is a busy month of friends and family members' birthdays. Appreciate a bakery dedicated to cakes. The Cakery is a small cake shop on Burlingame Ave in Burlingame. Parking is on the street.
