“Tricolor noodle soup: 10/10 my go-to bowl of soup when i was in high school and its still soooo good. I order with egg noodles and mix with hoisin and sriracha for the perfect bite. I shared with my daughter so we had to order an extra serving of noodles but there was plenty of broth for both of us. Food came out kinda slow considering it wasn't busy & service was okay. Not great but not horrible. The interior is a bit outdated. Looks the same as it did 10 years ago plus a few rips in the seats that have been repaired with duct tape“
“Our new go-to for spring rolls and papaya salad!!! **Our favorites: Shrimp papaya salad Shrimp spring roll I appreciate how their shrimp spring rolls have slices of pork and crunchy thick cucumbers. The peanut sauce is also perfectly thick and not runny. I dislike when the peanut sauce is too runny or too thick. The papaya salad is SO refreshing and the shrimp was C L E A N and sliced perfectly. Such a cute store name and the staff are very friendly and sweet. Parking is very very limited as there are stores next door within the tiny plaza.“

“The food wasn't bad. It was quite delightful. But one thing that I would recommend to the restaurant is to put more condiments on the tables. Such as soy sauce and fish sauce. Some people like it saltier than others. It would have boosted my rating for the restaurant if it had those two condiments. But other than that. Food was good and fresh.“

“They have some excellent pho here! We tried the Beef/tripe/ribeye pho ($20) and the broth was pretty great given the price. They have a generous helping of noodles and beef here, so definitely enough to share. Also got the shrimp rice bowl ($16) which was very light and delicious. It came with a side of sipping broth and dipping vinegar which was a great touch and paired so well with the shrimp. The shrimp itself was perfectly cooked and marinated in a butter-based sauce. Definitely coming back to get more pho though.“
“Great place for yummy sandwiches. I got their combo and thai tea. Their service is great and fast. It is on the pricier side but worth it. I love their bread which is soft and crispy. I haven't tried their other flavors but I will in the future . My go to sandwich when I'm craving or in the area.“

The food was fresh and delicious with perfect textures and dimensions, the house made hot oil was awesome, the service was friendly, helpful, and quick, and the atmosphere was nice - low lighting, pretty wood accents, and not overly noisy. Do yourself a favor and try the Shanghai butter tofu appetizer. We will be back!“
“I have been looking for a "go-to" pho spot for the last 6 month after moving here in the bay area.I ate pho in the east bay, south bay and San Francisco area and was about to give up with the many months of disappointments eating below par pho. But this is the spot. That's it.Their pho is solid and their broth is flavorful. Their noodle choice for their broth is a good pairing.“
“Was visiting from out of town, and it was a cold, windy day, we were tired from visiting and walking around Golden Gate. As soon as we sat down, a friendly Aunty gave us the menu, and I ordered Crispy Noodles, Bo Kho (Beef Stew Noodle), and Combination Pho. The friendly Aunty said they don't have Crispy Noodles but recommended their Garlic Noodles instead with Pork Chop and Chicken. Oh man, it was GOOOOOD! The pork chop and chicken were slightly sweet and salty, with extra umami.Everything was perfectly seasoned, the beef stew noodle and the pho were hot, it warmed up my bones, and suddenly the outside wind wasn't a problem anymore.I had a scratchy throat before eating, but after eating, my scratchy throat went away!Delicious food. Very friendly and warm service from the Aunty who was our server (Did I mention the food was good? ?) and we ordered a garlic noodle and beef stew noodle to-go, to eat for breakfast after our long drive. 10/10 would eat here again. Good pricing too!Parking: Parking spots throughout the front of the stores like in Main Street America. But there's traffic to and from. You have to back out onto traffic.“
“The food here is really, really good. I came here to eat out with a friend of mine and ordered the house garlic noodles, Dungeness crab, and imperial rolls. I can't say much about the service since they gave me and my friend lots of time to catch up, so depending on what you expect, it's pretty good. That's why I gave service 4 stars. Good, but not exactly outstanding. The atmosphere is really nice. I would personally sit on a patio if it's offered, but that's completely your choice.“

“Update: Vegan pho has been brought back! Owners mentioned it was by popular request, and they also have a spicy noodle soup that's vegan. Happy to hear it's made a comeback. Old review: Unfortunately they no longer do vegan pho but don't seem interested in updating their banner or menu to reflect that. Bahn mi is only vegan with mayo removed, and so it's quite dry. “I came here while I was out, hungry for bahn mi and royal milk tea. They provided both in a timely manner, and at a great price. 11.25 for a sandwich and a royal milk tea. The atmosphere was very slow, didn't look like it was very busy, to go only, cash only. Personally, I would have preferred smaller carrot chunks, but everything else about the soup was overwhelmingly positive. “Ben Tre has good flavor with good portion size. In my opinion the spring rolls are some of the best. The soup is in the top groups if you like beef broth. The restaurant is very clean and they are consistent throughout there locations.I always get the rare beef with brisket soup and meatball spring roll. Occasionally I will get the shaking beef or the 5spice chicken and neither option will let you down. The garlic noodles are pretty good, not oily and good flavor of garlic. “I got the Bun Rice Noodle Bowl with the marinated Lemon Tofu, fried Egg Roll, the clear sauce with chili pieces which I poured over the entire dish and mixed it all up and was very satisfied with the flavor. “Right when we walked in, we immediately got greeted by a sweet lady. We weren't rushed or pressured to sit in and eat which I appreciated because some places are really hastily. Me and my boyfriend were waiting for his car to be done and decided to try their pho. It was all fresh and homemade which did alter the taste of the pho but it was still very good. We decided to try their thai tea as well and it was delicious! Overall I would definitely go back when in the area to try some other dishes:)“

“Thank goodness for Pho Cafe and its proximity to my home. There's really nothing else in Daly City so Pho Cafe is a lifesaver! I've been here with my partner probably 4 times at this point, and each time we leave feeling full and satisfied without breaking the bank. It's a pretty unassuming place, but clean and organized.We typically order #1, which is $13 for a regular size and $15 for a large. For the price, the value is really good. A generous portion of noodles and meat. My only gripe is that the broth is not as rich and full-flavored as some other pho places I've had. One time we went, the broth was extremely fatty like it hadn't been strained which was obviously distracting. I could also use more bean sprouts and lime than they give. Overall can't complain though, decent bowl of pho.I also really love the #1 banh mi ($10). I love that they load it up with carrots and radish, but it could use more cilantro and cucumber. I do love the pate and whatever shrimp paste or salty goodness they use. Soooo good, especially on soft warm bread.Service is friendly and prompt. Parking can be a struggle in this lot so make someone else drive. I will definitely be coming back when the craving hits, approximately once every 2 weeks.“

The soup was above average imo, satisfied the craving but isn't being added to my list all time favorite vietnamese restaurants. “Usually get the banh mi sandwiches here that are very good with delicious bread and generous fillings. The price is more than usual for banh mi, but that’s the Ave for you. Strangely due to it being a Vietnamese cafe, they have a lot of Japanese curry dishes here as well.“
