“Our waitress recommended the Daily Catch White Sea Bass prepared Sand Dab style, which meant the chef lightly breaded the fish, and it came with a lemon butter sauce. It was so delicious I am going to come back every time we’re in town for the same thing. It may be the best fish I’ve ever had. Another diner at our table, who is a world traveler, and WORLD EATER says the Lure has the best clam chowder he’s had in any restaurant anywhere. Quite a recommendation!Parking: The free lot right behind the restaurant was really handy!“
“It was recently explained to me that this is a Mexican style seafood restraurant, not just a common taco shop. Don't get me wrong, their tacos are still pretty good. However, tonight with my new understanding of their fare, I decided to try something new and ended up falling in love with the Chili Peppers Piña! (Seafood stew served in a pineapple) Of course with a classic margarita.“
“They really do have amazing fish tacos. I always get the batter fried ones. Shrimp tacos and the street carne asada tacos are also delicious. Great service. Love the atmosphere. I feel like I am in a Cantina in Florida where I used to live.“
“Although the restaurant was pretty empty I thought it was good. They were out of a few things like the albondigas soup. The chips and salsa were good. I heard they use to not serve those. I got a shrimp empanada as an appetizer and I liked it. The enchilada plate was good. The bartender was attentive and refilled my coke a couple of times. The ambience could be good if busier because the interior is really nice. The food was good solid Mexican food and who can't root for a restaurant named for an endangered amphibian. I hope more people come because it was good and I think with time it will get even better.“
“Stopped in here after hearing a lot of good things about this place. I would consider it a Mexican Seafood place as this seems to be their speciality. Their atmosphere is more relaxed, casual when compared to say Yolanda's. It gives off a Mexican Comfort Food type of vibe. I'm not a Mexican Seafood person, an neither was my wife so we stuck with traditional dishes. I ordred a two taco plate with rice and beans. Carnatis tacos and pastor. The tacos were seaved on handmade tortillas. The pastor was excellent; however, the carnitas were dry. Rice and beans were excellent. The wife ordered fajitas which were good; however, it was the first time I've ever seen broccoli in fajitas. It was also the first time I've ever seen a ketchup bottle on the table in a Mexican restrurant. Both meals were generously proportioned with a reasonable price. This place also does some cocktails and beer that you can get as well. The wife's cocktail seemed a little light on the alcohol, but the Modelo I had was excellent (as always). Chips and salsa were on par. The salsa served with the tacos was excellent! Overalll, this is an interesting place that offers a Huge variety of dishes, but seems to specialize in Seafood.“
“Gem hiding in plain sight. Craving seafood after a show, we checked out Julian's Aguachiles. We were greeted with a smile from a friendly waitress. The chips and salsa tasted homemade. My daughter's meal came out first. I'm a critic when it comes to side beans. I can tell if they are homemade or not. These side beans were perfect. I could eat an entire plate of just beans. The presentation of the shrimp Aguachiles is picture worthy. The taste was nicely seasoned without being overpowering hot. My husband's beef soup was the perfect combination to dial down the heat. Word of caution: once the heat is gone, you will be craving for more. Looking forward to trying different options on the menu.“
“No-frills place (actually under-frilled, if that's possible)... but delicious food. We got Korean Tacos and a Shrimp Po Boy to share. I thought the sandwich was really good and I'd come back for it, and the tacos were even better and I can't wait to get them again. The only thing that would make this place better is if they tidied up the hallway leading to the restroom more and didn't have spare boxes of service items sitting around.“
“So good we forgot to take pics! Both of our dishes were amazing and have. To say the fresh flour and corn tortillas were bomb. The beans are amazing and we don't get wowed up to easy anymore these days. Prices and portions are fair we will be back soon!!! Staff is great and friendly and no issues at all , place is clean and has old school vibes and love the picture light boxes! Worth it to stop in and we didn't even plan to go here just caught our eye from the stop light. Both wifey and I felt so satisfied and happy after we left! “Great fish and chips - huge portion sizes, but really delicious fish and the batter wasn't too thick or stodgy. It came with coleslaw, tartar sauce. We were late so it was quiet but still a nice atmosphere. And, we happened to go on a day when there was a special - 3 pieces of fish for the price of 2 - fantastic! Plenty of parking and a nice, clean establishment. A great, straightforward fish and chip shop.“
“My husband and I had an amazing experience at Latitude for our anniversary! To start, the food was fantastic. I ordered the Filet Mignon medium rare with potatoes au gratin and asparagus, and my husband ordered the Bistro Burger medium rare. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! My husband said it was the best burger he'd ever had. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the STAR of the show was our waitress, Katie. She was quick and professional, but also attentive, so sweet, and overall just fantastic. Thank you so much, Katie and the rest of the staff and chef for an amazing anniversary dinner! We will definitely be back!“
