“Be careful with allergies. I was served gluten after specifically telling our server I was allergic. People make mistakes, so be cautious. Besides that, the appetizer- shrimp n grits. Unbelievably delicious, if it hasn’t won an award it should. It’s really really good. Chef Nick called me after we left (he was not at the restaurant) and apologized, comped the meal. Very gracious. Up until I ate gluten, it was the best dining experience I’ve had in decades. Unfortunately, we had to cut it short and leave.”
“The best fish tacos I've ever had. Don't know how they do it, but their battered fish is the perfect balance of crispy and salty. The pickled radish slice on top is a treat in and of itself. Their Tinga Taco (chicken) is a thing a beauty as well. I highly recommend a visit. It's a small clean place with a few small tables and stools set at a narrow bar. They don't sell beer or wine, so it is a bit of a bummer not to be able to enjoy one with the tacos. Chips & Salsa are extra, but honestly, two fish tacos hit the spot on their own. The ladies there are super friendly (and they make the best tacos).”
“Went here for my birthday with some friends and was pleasantly surprised! Ordered the guacamole and chips which were so delicious, I couldn't stop eating! Also ordered a frozen strawberry marg and it was so refreshing~ The tacos were to die for though, I didn't feel heavy after eating them so definitely recommend! The service was fantastic and since it was my birthday, our waitress gave us the option between a free dessert or free birthday shot which I thought was so awesome. The restaurant was clean and I loved the ambiance, would definitely eat here again (:”
“Always fast service and never any mistakes with my orders. I honestly don’t understand why there CANT be an up charge for an additional item for the Pizza Sandwich. I’ve had mushrooms added previously but when they’re busy, it’s not okay. I always tip 18-20% and even more yesterday when I somehow accidentally added an extra item to a personal pizza and was refunded. When you only get a measly 6 jalapeños as your second item, are a few mushrooms gonna be a huge deal? Wouldn’t customer satisfaction be worth $.75? I’m lost on why you can add tons to a pizza and get charged for that but not on a sandwich. ?♀️”
“This place is wonderful. The staff went above and beyond the expectation and delivered excellent quality customer service with a smile. It is located around a weirdly named street but that makes is even more charming and funky classic to the theme of Pizza My Heart. The place is well kept,Clean and holds a lot of local gem history on the walls.Dietary restrictions: The staff is mindful of people with food allergies and will custom make a pizza for you even if it is just one pieceParking: Limited so may need to carpool if you have a large group after sportsKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly astmosphere. It is kitty corner to the freeway entrance so it is funky with the location but the fountain drinks have good selection and it is clean. Close to local surf sport beaches.Wheelchair accessibility: Place is friendly to able folks in a wheelchair”
“This place is wonderful! We both enjoyed the friendly hostess and server. Our appetizer and both entrees were perfect! One was ordered "spicy" and turned out to be the perfect amount of spiciness. This was a special night and we were grateful for the sweet, quiet ambiance.”
“The food is always so fresh and yummy every time we order it! The servers are always so nice on the phone. The yellow curry and pad Thai the best in town. The peanut sauce is rich and creamy and the chicken satay has good flavor and tender meat. The Thai tea is very yummy too. The chili oil is very spicy but very good.”
“Such a cool little spot. Great customer service and tons of choices. Non alcoholic, wine and beer on tap. They change their options out weekly depending on popularity. Such a great little gem. We will be back for sure!”
“Ordered a Chicago Style Hot Dog and it was awesome, just like if not better than the Chicago Style dog from my hometown in Chicago. The owner, great guy and great customer service. I'm definitely coming back.”
“My kids love this place, for good reason. Not only are the owners the sweetest folks you'll meet, they make a zillion flavors of boba tea (with the real machine) and the owner makes beautiful Japanese crepes right in front of your eyes. All sorts of filling options too. My kids like to ogle the quart sized Nutella behind the glass. But seriously it's a fun and delicious little spot. Only a tiny bit of seating so this is more of a take it and split type place.Vegetarian options: As long as you're not vegan (prob eggs in the crepe batter) there are all sorts of veg filling options”
“I went here for the first time tonight. I had placed an order over the phone and it was ready when I got there. I ordered vegan yellow curry and it was delicious! Very flavorful. Also I ordered a Thai tea with coconut milk and I don't think they charge extra for coconut milk which is nice. Overall I would recommend this place if you're looking for some good Thai food in the area.”
“Quickly made my online order of bbq chicken before the due time. The staff were attentive and considerate, even made relevant small talk which getting me checked out. The place was clean and orderly, felt a bright and crisp vibe throughout the experience.”
“Always a great experience at East End from first come, first serve at the bar to reserving the lounge area downstairs for a group of 20. Great food, friendly service!”
“This is our go-to tea shop in my friend group. I find them to be very consistent. The boba always hits. My favorites are probably the jasmine and the lychee refresher.Dietary restrictions: Plant milksParking: If you don’t mind walking, park on Park Ave or Bay Ave and walk a bit.”
“Somehow our reservation was not in the system. We reserved through yelp so maybe that's why. When we arrived for a 7pm they couldn't seat us. So we decided to seat in the walk in lounge area. Curiously... the host could have just told us to wait until 7:15 as the reservation system showed availability. Small service issue but everyone was really nice. The steak sandwich was great. The brie was also very good. The artichoke hearts however were not very tasty. Didn't expect the inedible leaves to be part of the fried artichoke hearts. Prime rib was incredibly tender and one of the best we've had. The server in the lounge was great and loved his service. Wish I remembered the name.”
