“Most of the food was really good. Do not order the chocolate souffle. It's more of a defrosted hockey puck. Shameful that they even tried to serve that when they are known to be a quality restaurant. Then paying at the end was awful. They insisted we use our phones and their QR code. It didn't work for most of us. Geeze McDonald's can do better! I would come here again if my group chooses to but not eat dessert and I would use cash.“
“The food is great. I've had some bad Chinese food & this ain't it. We took awhile to order from this place but glad we did. It'll be our go-to from here on out. I suggest trying the ... everything. It goes well with hunger.“
“I have one word to say....LEGIT!!! This place is absolutely legit. So nice to have some legit cultural food here in Carlsbad!! The walnut prawns are the absolute best I have ever had and they are my favorite so that is saying a lot. Prices were absolutely reasonable for what you get. We did not have to wait and the service was perfect!!“
“A nice place with a calming atmosphere. I like the food a lot, occasionally on the edge of too much salt/msg but never crossing the line.Their menu is a little less inspiring than their competitive siblings at Chin's Szechwan, but both Chin's are better than so many other Chinese restaurants.“
“Food was good, we ordered the Mongolian Beef, Crab Rangoon, and Tofu Chow Mein. Would have loved to have tasted more crab in my Crab Rangoon, but other than that, food tasted good. Service was good too, took about ten minutes to get our food which was average. Atmosphere at the Wind Mill Food Hall is great, a must see for first timers as there are many places to choose from!Vegetarian options: Some egg products in a few dishes, make sure you ask!“
“My wife and I go to Thai Pasta for lunch at least once a week. The food is great and the people there are friendly. They do a lot of take-out and Doordash orders, but not a lot of dine-in, so it is normally a nice, quiet place for lunch. The food arrives quickly if you need a quick lunch, but there is never a rush to leave.“
“Stopped at their booth in Balboa Park during the Lunar New Year festival. Their prices were very reasonable with a 3-for-$10 on steamed buns. We got chicken and mushroom and cabbage and mushroom. So good! The fillings were plentiful and flavorful and the buns were tasty and perfectly steamed! Will def buy from them again next time we see them!“
“I come here all the time. Not only is the food delicious and filling, it is affordable. They also offer family packs which is awesome. Some of my favorite dishes are the Kung Pao chicken, crispy shrimp with firecracker sauce, and grilled teriyaki chicken and vegetables (when I want something that feels a little lighter). I also add some chicken egg rolls and cream cheese wontons to my order. The portion size is pretty big and I like the convenience of the plates it comes in. Sometimes it’s my lunch and sometimes it’s my lunch and dinner :)“
“Wow! What a wonderful experience. It was absolutely delicious and our server was so attentive, kind and helpful. We will be going back for sure.It was $120 for 4 of us to eat. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. We have 4 boxes full of leftovers to bring home too! We highly recommend Chins.John 3:16. Jesus loves you!?✝️ “
