I originally came here 15 years ago when it opened. My friend and food photographer for the Sacramento Magazine Rachel Valley asked for my help as we photographed many of Matteo's menu items. Great Pizza to go. Had special needs for the pizza and it was handled perfectly. Incredible wine selection. I had to buy a few bottles when I came in to pick up the pizza. I definitely will return for more of everything. So happy to have this pizza option in Carmichael/ Arden Arcade.

Matteo's Pizza & Bistro is a lovely classy restaurant that has a beautiful indoor and outdoor dining area. I especially love to come here on warm summer nights and sit outside with the hanging bulbed lights, water wall and lush vegetation surrounding the outdoor patio area. It's wicked pleasant.
