“Came here tonight for the first time and it exceeded our expectations! At first we were a little uncomfortable because we'd never been before and and it seemed like we didn't fit in but the bartender (who also served us) was amazing! I didn't get her name but she has dark hair with a s*** cut and a septum piercing. She was super prompt and attentive even though there were some other customers and the food was some of the best I've had in chico! I had the garden fresh chicken sandwich with fries and the basil aioli was freaking amazing! My boyfriend had the special which was a bbq chicken bacon quesadilla. It also had jalapeños but was just the perfect amount of spice! We really enjoyed everything including the music and different things on the TVs. We're absolutely gonna be back with our friends!!“
“Always a good place to enjoy a meal that you can’t make at home. When passing through Chico, I make sure to stop in and have some Pho and sometimes a Lemon Drop afterwards. It’s a little bit noisy and dark inside but one of my favorite restaurants.Parking: It’s downtown so you might get lucky and find a spot to park close to the front door, or you may have to walk a few blocks. Parking is $2 minimum before 6pm M-F and you need to purchase a parking slip from the Kiosk machine, which takes coins and debit cards.“
“Cool place to chill and play some pool. Every time i’ve been here we easily get a table, so no waiting. The drinks are good, but the food i can’t say because I have never ordered any. The kitchen looks messy and im really picky when it comes to my food and the how it’s being prepared. Cleanliness is HUGE for me. The cook was wearing gloves but was grabbing dirty kitchen rags, pulling up his pants, grabbing pans, cooking utensils, pulling bread out of bags and then handling the food and serving it like that. Nahhhh what’s the purpose of wearing gloves then. It’s a hard pass for me. Aside from that, the bartenders are friendly and quick and its a cool place if you like playing pool and i’m still going back im not gonna lie because i go for the pool and the drinks.“

“I love Park Avenue Pub! My husband and I like to go here at least once a week. The staff is very nice! Food is delicious! I got the burger and fries the first time and let me tell you. The Spicy burger was juicy and flavorful and the fries with garlic and parmesan just hits the spot. That's when I knew that I'll be back again to try more of the menu. I definitely recommend this place if you haven't been here yet!“
“Loved the food. It was a bit dark and the music was a bit loud for a Thursday night in a mostly empty bar, but once the DJ came in it was better. I didn't get a photo of our food but it's the best fish & chips I've had in the Chico area in the 10 months I've been looking for a fish & chips place. My husband had the naked pepper wings and loved them. Will be back again to try more foods and maybe dance next time :)“
“Fantastic pool hall/sports bar & grill with 6 full-size tables and a 75¢ bar-size table. More than enough flat screen TVs to watch ALL games that are playing in real time. Can't really vouch for food yet as I've only had the grilled cheese sandwich so far. Free pool Sundays!Parking: Multiple spots in front, parking lot in back and plenty of street parking as it is located at the western edge of the Cal State Chico campus.Kid-friendliness: Not sure about exact rules regarding minors, but I know they can hangout on the billiards side of the establishment.Wheelchair accessibility: Of course it's ADA compliant, like it should be.“
“Cheap drinks. 20 Taps all Sierra Nevadas only $4. The blonde girl bar tender makes some fancy drinks... the other tattooed owner/bar tender is super friendly and personable. They have karaoke on some days. The fire bird sandwich is a hit... highly recommend. All in all a good drama free atmosphere“
“Expect a bar in the daytime and a little better food than typical bar food. Throw in some George Jones playing from a juke box in the background… kids playing around on the dance floor. You’ll see winners, and losers, chain smokers and boozers. They have yuppies and bikers, even thirsty hitchhikers. I saw cowboys and truckers, brokenhearted, fools and suckers. They have hustlers, fighters early birds in all nighters. I heard veterans talk about their battle scars… I love this bar!Parking: They have an atm too! Plenty of arcade fun for the kiddos“
