We walked into the new location of Taj Indian resto, at the corner of West 2nd Street and Cedar, and were greeted by two super helpful guys. We arrived home with our dinners to find that the dishes were amazing: we had the entrée-plus-rice of chicken tikka masala, curry chicken, and chili chicken—each delicious, the chili chicken with a definite kick—and the dal makhani as an extra entrée only. I got the butter chicken as well as the garlic naan and chicken Takamasa. The chicken was the best chicken I have ever had. The garlic naan was also very good! Enough food for lunch the next day as well.

Taj is always a great experience and consistently on our short list of places whenever we're going out to eat. Their butter chicken is the best in Chico.Vegetarian options: My mom who is a vegetarian practically cried when we took her here. She was paralyzed by the number of vegetarian options.
