Cozy little coffee shop with exceptional baked goods. Favorites include the Raspberry Cream Cheese Danish, the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich, the Black Bean Chili and any cake from here is over the top fabulous!
Upper Crust is a great bakery in downtown Chico. It's one of our go-to places for breakfast when in town, especially if we want a lighter, simpler breakfast rather than a full sit-down hot breakfast. It's right downtown and near the university. They have great pastries, breakfast foods, coffee, tea, and more. Pastries and the like are always excellent an they have a nice range. Service is great. They have some nice seating inside plus some outside.

I recently visited Chico and stopped by Upper Crust Bakery. The food was great as always, but I had accidently dropped a $100 bill while I was there. An honest staff member was cleaning up at the end of the day and found it and turned it in. The next day I went back to ask if they had found it and sure enough it was returned. Thank you for not only great food, but but for honest staff!
